Chris Wallace, the moderator of the sole debate between President Biden and President Trump in 2020, said that lost the presidency due to his performance that night.
Biden and Trump will face off against each other Thursday in a CNN-hosted debate in Atlanta.
“I actually think it was one of the most consequential presidential debates in history,” Wallace said Wednesday on “The Source with Kaitlan Collins” on CNN. “I actually think Donald Trump lost the presidency in that debate by his performance. He dropped about 4 or 5 points. He never regained it.”
Wallace, who worked at Fox News in 2020, is now an anchor for CNN.
Wallace added that the “key question” for Thursday’s debate is, “Has he learned his lesson?”

I thought Trump did very well in the debates. He is a total natural. I guess that is meaningless to pearl-clutchers such as yourself.

What is meaningless to me is ad hominem epithets. If you have some facts to support your view, for example a poll by a neutral or conservative source, that would be meaningful to me.

Leave, if you are going to insult this site. Biden can’t change his record. He had no record to defend in 2020. Trump also did fairly poor on covid and the riots. Circumstances are FAR in his favor now.
You still can’t refute anything that I am saying. I am trying, in vain, and apparently using the worst methods possible, to wake up people. I am still voting for trump, if we even have an election. But he has not shown he has learned a goddamned, sorry, G-ddamned thing from last time. He has to fight half the repugnicants, all of the left, and his own stupidity. In the 2020 debate Donald Trump lost his temper and behaved like an enraged uncontrollable child.
Regardless of his value as a contestant, Joe Biden kept his and the rules of debating when assailed.
And observing what was happening there to Trump by his own hand, I just cringed in pain at the abandonment of all the well-knowm debate rules that Trump exhibited.
And at this moment I am also cringing at the irrational responses some of the FR constituents are flinging about this article and at each other, especially yours at the very beginning.
Y'all need to get real. In 2020 Trump lost his temper, and Biden (whom I hate) did not. May that NOT happen this time.
