The trial against two women who made false claims that France's first lady Brigitte Macron was transgender, sparking conspiracy theories among the far-right, opened on Wednesday.
The wife of president Emmanuel Macron sued self-proclaimed spiritual medium Amandine Roy and conspiracy theorist Natacha Rey for posting a four-hour long video to YouTube claiming that she had once been a man named 'Jean-Michel', which went viral weeks before the 2022 presidential election.

He’s a dude
Brigitte being a dude is the only way the relationship makes any sense to me.
It’s not ludicrous. She has a feminine voice, but the way she sits is characteristically male. Women don’t just plonk themselves in a chair the way that Michel Obama et al do.
She’s a GoldDigger.
Not That There’s Anything Wrong With That.
Well, a sex change operation does add a decade or so to one’s apparent age, so...
No physical needed. Just a DNA test.
We need a visual comparison of the “two women” to Bridgitte.
Good point.
Big Mike is on the edge of her seat waiting to hear the results of this trial!
Once the precedent is set, she can sue anyone and everyone that thinks she’s a guy - she’ll be set for LIFE and can finally shed her gay husband once and for all. ;)
No idea about her dingaling, but I know a wig when I see one.
Will the jurors be allowed to watch the 1970 movie Myra Breckinridge? From the Gore Vidal novel.
Wikipedia:
Like the novel, the picture follows the exploits of Myra Breckinridge, a man who flies to Copenhagen to get a sex change, becoming the beautiful Myra played by Raquel Welch,
a transgender woman.
Claiming to be her own widow, she manipulates her uncle into giving her a position at his acting school, where she attempts to usurp Hollywood’s social order by introducing femdom into the curriculum.
The picture was controversial for its sexual explicitness (including acts like female-on-male rape), but it, unlike the novel, received little to no critical praise and has been cited as one of the worst films ever made.[5] In subsequent decades the film has developed a cult following.
I was thinking is she going to have to strip for the court to see the evidence. 🤣
I still hear a helicopter theme in my head when I see this picture.
Stop it. When you were 15 you probably would have been all over that too.
The court is giving the two women a public forum where they can present proof that what they’ve been saying is true. I’m sure they have hard evidence to back up their statements, otherwise why would they have made public allegations?
