VERDICT: False. Trump’s ATF banned bump stocks at his direction.

The bump stock ban was announced in 2018, Trump’s second year in office, and went into effect March 26, 2019.

And the Las Vegas Route 91 festival mass shooting was not with a bump stock.

There are so many unanswered questions about it.

Three helicopters using spoofed transponder IDs turned them off just before the shooting and witnesses report them strafing the upper stories of the Mandalay Bay hotel.

There were multiple shooting sites on the ground at the same time on the ground.

I don’t pretend to know the answer to that, but there is undeniable evidence of the two facts I mentioned and that have never appeared in state-controlled media.

FYI - Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal owns the upper floors of Mandalay Bay, which was the epicenter of the firearms activity. There was a Saudi power struggle going on at the time.
