‘They Know That They’re Losing’: Anna Paulina Luna Claims Lawmakers ‘Hearing’ Biden Won’t Be Dem Nominee
Daily Caller ^ | June 14, 2024 | HAILEY GOMEZ - GENERAL ASSIGNMENT REPORTER

Posted on 06/14/2024 6:15:52 AM PDT by Red Badger

Republican Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna claimed Thursday on Fox News Capitol Hill lawmakers are “hearing” President Joe Biden won’t be the Democratic nominee come this November.

Luna appeared on “Jesse Watters Primetime” to discuss the recent meeting GOP lawmakers had with former President Donald Trump on Thursday morning. Fox host Jesse Watters asked Luna about the policies discussed in the closed door meeting, to which Luna revealed some of Trump’s ideas on foreign affairs.

“I think the number one issue that he has is, especially a concern for what’s happening right now with Russia, obviously.” Luna said. “There’s the media really silencing what’s happening with Russia — warships off the coast of Cuba and also Florida. But I think more importantly too he made it sure that the American people would know that what is currently happening in Ukraine and Israel would have never happened under him and he does have a plan and solution moving forward.”

“I also want to point out that he understands that world leaders respect him and right now with currently what’s coming out of the White House that, you know, a lot of people realize that Joe Biden is likely not going to be the nominee,” she continued. “Which is from what we’re hearing on Capitol Hill, Representative [Kevin] Kiley had reported that Kamala Harris [is] actually eyeing a run for California governor because of it.”

“Right, that’s the backup plan. So you are hearing also in D.C. that Joe Biden isn’t going to be the Democrat nominee?” Watters asked.

“Correct,” Luna responded. “It appears that our colleagues are trying to put guardrails on a 2024 presidential election with President Trump and also what you are seeing is according to our pulling, you know as well as I do that they have been trying to really paint Republicans as anti-woman and they’re trying to push an abortion crisis right now with the election and I don’t think that’s a case. A lot of the American people know that really this is a state rights decision and so I think that they know that they’re losing. It’s very evident at this point.”

Reports have circulated that top Democratic Party members are allegedly panicking over the chance that Biden may lose the 2024 election against Trump, according to Politico. Recent polling shows Trump has not only been leading against Biden in major key swing states, but is also polling well among key Democratic voting blocs. For example, in a recent New York Times/Siena College poll, Trump has narrowed his deficit against Biden, winning 20% of black voters despite Biden having won the voting bloc by over 60% in 2020.

Oh no underestimating, just realization you can’t turn a mid 30s ticket into a winner, no matter how much you cheat.

I have no doubt the Dems may try to replace Biden, in fact I have stated that as at least a optional path for them since they changed their bylaws in 2022 to allow the nominee to be replaced “at will” once they accepted the nomination.

However, I just don’t see it working, at least in terms of winning the WH... particularly if they wait until after the nomination/convention.

Dems just don’t have a superstar capable of it, as I said, if they did they would have run them instead of Biden in the first place.

So, IMHO, the replacement of Biden, especially if its in late August after the convention is all but an admission the WH is lost, and they are playing just to do something to save the down ballot.

"I’m thinking they throw Hillary into the mix."

I don't think Obama would be comfortable with Hillary in the white hut. She's too bullheaded and he would need to deal with Bill. He would lose too much power.. (?)

Then they’ll have to kill him because he has the nomination sewed up on the first ballot

Yes, once the DNC changed their rules to allow at will replacement of the nominee once they accepted the nominee, which was done in 2022, it was clear this was at least an optional path for the Dems this cycle.

However, I don’t think it will work if they do it.

They don’t have a superstar waiting on deck, Newsom nor Whitmer are remotely the calibre needed to pull out a last second victory.

Doesn’t mean the Dems won’t try... but personally I think last minute replacement of the nominee is just admission the WH is lost and they are playing to stem the bleeding and prevent a down ballot massacre

We shall see

That photo may be the nail in Joe's coffin, politically.

Harris is #2 because their politics will not allow any other choice.

Nonsense. She has no base of support in the party.

1) She's not really black
2) She married a Jew
3) She sent brothers away for weed.
4) She won 3 delegates running against a senile old man in 2020.

Their dream ticket is MOBama/Whitmer (girl power), but MO says she’s not interested

She's a liar. This has been the plan all along. Obama couldn't have his wife run right after him so he allowed slow Joe to be the nominee, cheated him into office, set up the government to be perpetually beast power friendly and now will instill big Mike. Hold on to your seat...it's going to get bumpy when we begin the final demise of the United States of America. Hope you're prepared mentally, spiritually and physically.

The Dems do not have a superstar, and they know it,

They couldn't run a primary, the next best thing is to decide at the convention and let the back room bosses make the decision FOR the primary voters. Best of both worlds, they choose and the public has no say.

They won’t, the establishment despises RFK. He has attacked the deep state and regulatory state for decades... The vitriol they threw against him when he was trying to run for the Democratic nomination was as bad if not worse that the stuff they throw at Trump.. and they were doing it right out of the gate.

They drove him out of the party, rather than have him be a vitrual guaranteed win in the fall for them.

will be brought to you by all the white women because of their “number one issue. Abortion.”

So says the (maybe/probably not true) narrative. The vote this week in SC seems to counter that. I think “they” keep spewing what you posted, hoping that people will believe it so that pols will move left to get votes. I dunno. SC must have white women voting.

Again they don’t have a superstar, so, throwing someone, anyone in last second to try to win, isn’t likely going to work. Doesn’t mean they won’t try... certainly... but they don’t have anyone who is going to be able to step in last second, and motivate and galvanize the base and also sway the independents their way.. not in 8 or 9 weeks.... they just don’t have anyone like that in their bench.

Doesn’t mean they won’t try...

Howevever, personally, I think replacement is just an admission the WH is lost for them and they are playing to try to stem the down ballot bleeding.

We shall see.

MO says she's not interested.

Not interested in campaigning and possibly losing a primary. Very interested, perhaps honored, to be selected by party elders. After all, when you are asked to "serve" your country, how can you say no.

I’ve said it before in other threads, I think her not interested statements are fake. She is their cinderella story: Reluctant leader, throwing her hat into the ring to save democracy from Trump. The MOBama/Whitmer ticket is at the top of my list for this reason.

Also, we all know that Obama’s running the show right now, it’s really about selling some narrative to the sheep.

She's not interested in all the work of running a primary, if she is "selected", then she will accept.

“My belief is that he will not be debating Trump on June 27th.”

indeed ... 100% certainty biden won’t debate trump ... most likely the biden puppet string pullers will have biden try to read the following statement: “I refuse to debate a convicted felon.” ...

Yep, I have already posted that sentiment a day or two ago. The drugs are no longer working, he can’t debate Trump.
