"Garland just said the president can extend presidential privilege to keep individuals from being held in criminal contempt from Congress"
Maybe we can get the Attorney General to weigh in on this....

After Biden ignored the SCOTUS ruling on student loan forgiveness, now his lackey Garland wants to defy the legislative branch...
Doesn't that sound like something a Dictator would do?

Merrick Garland just said the president can extend presidential privilege to keep individuals from being held in criminal contempt from Congress
Ad this was a man who was nominated for a Supreme Court position?
So, Garland doesn't agree with the constitutional power of oversight by congress? Garland is being unconstitutional, and so would Biden if he agrees with Garland. But, doing loads of unconstitutional stuff is what the Biden presidency is about, so never mind.

That’s BS.
The executive office has no power over Congress.

Did he make clear that only Democrat Presidents have this authority?

Then next time he’s before congress, have the Sergeant at Arms seize him and put him in the House jail (there is one).
Let’s see how he likes that for a while.
They really don’t feel they need to be accountable to the people in any way. These are the very worst oligarchs.
What a Supreme Court justice he would have made!

Time to pull the trigger on this:
Luna Circulates Letter to Hold Garland in 'Inherent Contempt' of Congress
"Inherent contempt" of Congress, a power rarely exercised and not used since the 1930s, is now being proposed as a significant measure. In this process, an offender is tried on the House floor, not by the Department of Justice. If the majority finds the offender in contempt, the House Sergeant-at-Arms arrests them until they comply with a subpoena or until the end of the legislative session.

Garland just said the president can extend presidential privilege to keep individuals from being held in criminal contempt from Congress Incorrect, or Obama would have invoked this as regards Eric Holder.
This is a brand-new made up assertion.

“Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon would like a word.”
Glad your comment was first in the thread, as it was the first thing that came to mind! What a sleazebag Garland has shown himself to be.
Congress needs to send over the Sergeant at Arms, cuff that punk, and throw his ass in the congressional pokey until he gives up the subpoenaed audio recordings.
