One of the floats in Boston's "gay pride" parade featured a photo of the "bonus hole" last Saturday..
But one of the first thoughts that comes to my mind when considering "gender affirming surgery" is that there were "doctors" in Europe in the mid to late 1940s who were executed for doing the very same things to people in Germany,Poland and elsewhere.
This would be a good time for donors to rescind their gifts and cite this as the reason why. The only way people change their behavior is if you kick them in the pocketbook.
This kind of language comes ultimately from a mindset that views other people primarily as sex toys. The cultural reservoir for that kind of thinking and talking has always been the hypersexualized and usually quasi-underground world of fully unleased male homesexuality, where the norm is extreme promiscuity. The sexual revolution has always involved a strong element of normalizing and popularizing male homosexual pathologies. It’s not accidental that homosexuality is having a cultural moment as rates of marriage and childbearing are plummeting. To the revolutionaries, sex is all about taking and using, never giving and sharing, and children have all but disappeared from the picture because raising children is best done in families built to last. That sort of thing has no place at the orgy.
