Donald Trump’s Mob Rule: Why the MAGA movement loves Mafiosi.

This week, Breitbart interviewed the former Trump official Peter Navarro, one of many criminals in the ex-president’s orbit, from the Miami prison where he is serving four months for contempt of Congress. While life behind bars is difficult, Navarro boasted that his stint has been smoothed by his ties to Donald Trump, which make him something of a made man. The former president, said Navarro, is beloved not just by the guards, but by the “vast majority” of inmates as well. “If I were a Bidenite, things would be a lot tougher here — and yes, they know exactly who I am and respect the fact that I stood up for a principle and didn’t bow to the government,” he said.

One of the more unsettling things about our politics right now is the Republican Party’s increasingly open embrace of lawlessness. Even as they proclaim Trump’s innocence, Trump and his allies revel in the frisson of criminality. At his rally in the Bronx last month, for example, Trump invited onto the stage two rappers, Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow, who are currently facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder and weapons possession. (They’ve pleaded not guilty.) During Trump’s recent criminal trial, his courtroom entourage included Chuck Zito, who helped found the New York chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang and spent six years in prison on drug conspiracy charges. (The Justice Department has linked his Hells Angels chapter to the Gambino crime family.) Trump, who has his own history of mafia ties, has repeatedly compared himself to Al Capone. MAGA merchants sell T-shirts — and, weirdly, hot sauce — showing Trump as either Vito or Michael Corleone from “The Godfather” movies, with the caption...

Predictable and predicted. The NYT is piling on the “Trump is a felon and so are his voters” trope right on time.

The truth of the matter is, they think if they throw Trump in jail, Trump will be cowering in terror in the corner of a dingy cell waiting to be anally raped, and that gives them material for pleasuring themselves.

What is more likely is that Trump will find allies who either like him and will accept pay to protect him or work for him.

Not because he is a stupid mafiosa type which Leftists all seem to adore for some reason, but because it is the way someone like Trump would work. In prison, personal safety might be an issue, so he would say-”Who do you have that would make people go the other direction at the site of him? I want that guy as my bodyguard. I’ll make it worth his while.”

So to answer your question, Garland will to decline to prosecute himself

Garland is refusing to answer Congressional subpoenas today - exactly what he is sending Steve Bannon to prison for. Garland's corruption and contempt for the law is truly breathtaking.

Did Michelle Goldberg interview Eric Holder when he went to jail for contempt of Congress?

Oops. He never served time.

I’d vote for Tony Soprano for president before I’d vote for Clinton, Obama or Biden.

Wait!!! MAGA is importing illegal immigrants to bolster future voter-rolls? Methinks the Times doesn’t understand what “mob rule” is.

The choice is simple:
Currently, the abject communist tyranny we live under that impacts/controls every aspect of our lives...

Or:

The mob, of the past, under the control of a godfather who had minimal impact on the lives of most Americans who, at the time, still enjoyed many of the Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms & liberties...

Hey, Michelle, you smelly fraud, which party has been trying to allow felons to vote in recent years? That effort reveals that you believe that the prison population is YOUR PEOPLE.

One should have contempt for this Congress. BTW when is Eric Holder going to jail?

They came after me the FBI a few years ago. I kept bashing them on their Facebook page stupidly using my real name and the Dept. of transportation kept calling me in for a random drug test (I drive a truck for a living).

I usually get called to take one about once a year or two. Now they had me coming in every few weeks, every month over and over but I kept passing because i don’t do drugs.

Some freepers doubt they could do that, but I know it was them, once I stopped bashing them the tests stopped. Joe’s Gestapo. I hope Trump breaks the bastards up. This is what happens when kids are indoctrinated in school, they grow up and we end up with these leftist assholes in government.

Oh God, how many read this joke of a paper?

Lawlessness? There is a lie about paying off a prostitute against multiple weekend deaths in Chicago.
