In the wake of a trial widely criticized as a sham, where Trump was convicted on all 34 felony charges in a ‘hush money’ scandal, sources suggest that DA Bragg’s office may recommend Trump serve a year at the notorious Rikers Island.

Judge Merchan told jurors they did not have to agree on a crime—a practice unheard of in US history. The jury only had to agree that something bad happened.

“Righteously and justly”, yes! Heck, “righteously and justly” they should order Trump ruled not guilty and have Merchan and Bragg drawn and quartered along with the jury, and their heads displayed on pikes.

But technically, you want your USSC justices to enter this matter (or any matter) with no preconceived notions. So (technically) their decision to stay the jail time and hear the case would be based only on President Trump’s writ vs. Alvin Bragg’s response, and their view regarding whether President Trump would likely prevail on the merits.

Its no secret to anyone on FR that I think most of this stuff especially the court cases are pantomime. But I didn’t think Trump would agree to go to jail. I guess he has. It will certainly set a lot of things in motion and open a couple of pathways to postponing the election which I fully expect to happen. One thing for sure its going to get kray kray.

He raised 100m in 4 days after his conviction. I'd suspect 500m in four days after such an action.

I'd also suspect that his reelection would be guarenteed, no matter HOW much the Democrats try to cheat.
