President Biden on Tuesday blamed former President Trump and Republicans for leaving him with no choice but to act on curbing the influx of migrants at the U.S.-southern border.
The president, in remarks from the White House, said he is “moving past Republican obstruction” to act on his own and announce the order, which will be in effect when the seven-day average of daily border crossings exceeds 2,500 between ports of entry.
“Frankly, I would have preferred to address this issue through bipartisan legislation, because that’s the only way to actually get the kind of system we have now that’s broken, fixed. To hire more Border Patrol agents, more asylum officers, more judges. But, Republicans left me no choice,” Biden said.

In so stating the Biden Administration admits it can control the number of illegal aliens entering the country any time they want. The blame Trump dog won't hunt.

Now let us get this straight, Joe Biden ALWAYS had the choice. He is covering and backfilling for his own constituents in regards to being “forced”, but we all know that the larger proportion who are NOT constituents of Joe Biden still believe this is just window dressing, and should Crooked Joe manage to finagle another term (with the complicity of the Deep State, the corrupt legal system, and lots and lots of “dark money”), the reversion to the prior set of executive orders will be immediate and very likely irreversible.
Pray as if it all depended on the Lord, and work as if it all depended on yourself, to assure that Trump is once more elevated to the Presidency, and that he has sufficiently firm backing from Republican majorities in both the House and Senate to contain and reduce this pit of corruption and chicanery that is the Democrat Socialist faction of the opposition party.
Trump is an alleged “convicted felon” only because of a serious perversion of the New York State legal system, and nowhere else in the US should that designation stand.
The “newcomers” should be turned away at the polls wherever they show up.
Now THAT is funny!! I remember he did the same thing a year or so ago - set a limit on the number allowed in and all he did was change the number when it went over what he had originally set. It would be nice to have an adult in charge again...

What a nerve this hypocrite has. Imagine blaming Republicans for the system that he personally broke after Trump had already largely fixed it. Of course, more Border Patrol agents, asylum officers, and judges were not really needed under Trump since he negotiated with Latin American countries to not let them cross freely into the US in the first place. Since we had millions fewer people coming, there was far less need for agents, officers, and judges. It was only Biden destroying Trump’s solution, throwing open the borders, and promising to fight for full amnesty in his first 100 days that caused this crisis in the first place. Yet he still is trying to project his disaster onto others like usual.
