The Biden administration is doing an end-run around the nation’s immigration laws — by giving migrants work permits in record numbers.
Since President Biden took office, more than 3.3 million migrants have been given a Employment Authorization Document (EAD), commonly known as the federal work permit, even though many didn’t even legally have the right to be America.
And as of February of this year, pending EAD applications stood at an another 1.4 million.
In many cases, migrants are given the right to work before they are even given asylum, a green card or other legal documentation that allows them to stay.
Not so long ago, the work permit rightly was considered an unwanted immigration “pull factor” and a key to managing immigration flows.
In 1996, the Immigration and Naturalization Service introduced a new rule: Asylum seekers had to wait 180 days before applying for work.
Asylum is meant for people fleeing legitimate claims of persecution, and aren’t just looking for better jobs.
Reviewing the previous year’s immigration statistics, then Immigration Commissioner Doris Meissner announced that new rules removing this “primary incentive” resulted in asylum claims dropping from 122,589 in 1994 to 53,255 in 1995.
“With this attack on fraud, we have closed a back door to illegal immigration” she added.

In this case it’s true. Minorities hit hardest along with the general working class. And we all absolutely know that in 6 months to two years Democrats will pounce saying, “These are ours neighbors who have worked and paid taxes into the system. It’s only fair that we now grant them the right to representation and the right to vote and have their voices heard.”. You just know this is the path.

Laws are for the citizens. Politicians and non-citizens don’t have to comply with anything.
They are already registered to vote or will soon be. The next step is to accept work authorization permits as voter id.
Who’s going to go after him, the DOJ?X The House? He pretty much does what he wants. Our system of government is almost completely collapsed. Even if someone were to appeal to the SC, he’s already shown he won’t obey them, either. If I didn’t know better, I’d say God has abandoned us. But I DO know better. I’m guessing God is allowing us, as a country, to reap what we’ve sown, and wallow in it, so that we will finally come to our senses and repent and turn to Him, to seek mercy. The world, including us, has never been as corrupt as it now is. (Well, there was that one time and that flood). But hang onto your hat, because, according to the Bible, we ain’t seen nothin’ yet. My prayer is that he will have mercy on us at least one more time, and unseat the corrupt government we currently have.
I heard that illegal aliens can vote in Federal Elections in some states. First, is this true? Second, if true, what states? Third, what can be done to stop this?
We need to make a list of all companies and businesses that hire these illegals. They must be made an example of and shunned. Beyond a boycott, we should take every means possible to obstruct their ability to do business. Protest, legal actions, hindrance to advertising, and whatever else possible within the bounds of the law.
Make the money dry up and these illegals will return from where they came, and those supporting them will bankrupt themselves. Make this the next leg of “get woke, go broke.”
And who is going to stop him? The gutless Repukes? RATS have been emboldened over the years, simply because Repukes have sat on their a$$es and done nothing. They created this monster.
It’s not that illegals are allowed to vote but the state cant check ID to confirm they’re citizens. AZ is one such state.
Republicans could have stopped the invasion, when they took the house and, again, with Johnson.
They didn’t.
As if many of the current crop of invaders WANT jobs.
Most of them are here for the “Free Stuff” or on assignment from their home governments.
