It’s the preeminent civil rights issue of our day: the protection of girls in women’s sports.
Last month’s stolen victory by a male runner in the girls’ 400-meter dash at the Washington state championships underscores a heightened sense of urgency for current and future generations of female athletes.
Lauren Matthew, West Valley School District’s top-seeded runner, is just the latest young woman to lose a title to a mediocre male claiming to be female. Naturally, the boy secured the championship by one second.

If you turn this into a civil rights issue in the U.S., there is a strong possibility that gender-segregated sports will be outlawed.
In the current U.S. legal environment, I don’t see how women's sports can be legally distinguished from race-segregated bathrooms and restaurants.
The worst one I heard about was a male pretending to be a female who entered a women’s bicycling race in Italy at the last minute.
He won, of course, and collected the $35,000 prize that should have gone to a female competitor.
Some of those ladies need to look at the voting habits - if they vote for the democrats who push this, then they are part of the problem and should receive no sympathy.
She gave up going to dental school to speak out about the injustice of allowing men into women’s competitions.
That, and allowing fully intact males into women’s locker rooms with young girls - who are told if they don’t like it, THEY are bigoted and need counseling.
Only remedy is for women to refuse to compete against men, let them compete in an empty pool, running track, basketball court, etc. Women are being hurt.
It goes well beyond the voting habits of women. They are the main reason why the trans movement was allowed to take hold and attempt to become mainstream. In nearly every case where we hear about a child being transitioned at an early age, it is the mother of a son wanting a "daughter".
They get around it by calling themselves Transcrazy like they take away some people rights by demanding they use their pronoun gibberish
there’s a point here. liberal progressives HATE competition and sports down to their very being. these people have been trying for more than a generation to destroy sports in any way, shape or form and the women’s liberation movement gave them the tools they needed to succeed. pretty sure that the women’s liberation movement didn’t think this would happen but extrapolation of current events to determine a probable outcome is lost on the typical liberal progessive hence...the results are a big shock! “all your friends say you’re nuts when you can predict an outcome 20 years in advance...then when it happens, they are STILL shocked!” L.Star
When it comes to “race”, there is is actually only ONE: human.
Our differences—be they in the color of our skin, our hair, our body-size, or our language—are the result of adaptations to different environments, and do NOT make us more—or less—human.
But the one difference we humans can not and should not deny is that of SEX: male and female.
So the attempt to eradicate this difference— by allowing men to participate in women’s sport—is not just STUPID. It is EVIL!
Because being a woman or being black is perfectly normal while self-mutilation and taking drugs to enhance or suppress normal bodily functions is perverse and wrong.
