A Democratic congressman has publicly called on Gov. Hochul to pardon former President Donald Trump after he was found guilty this week of falsifying business records — for the sake of the nation.
Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) said a Trump conviction only helps his campaign.
“Donald Trump is a serial liar, cheater, and philanderer, a six-time declarer of corporate bankruptcy, an instigator of insurrection, and a convicted felon who thrives on portraying himself as a victim. @GovKathyHochul should pardon him for the good of the country,” Phillips declared in a X post Friday.

Interesting. I figured Trump would pardon himself after he gets into office; I hadn’t considered that the Democrats would be smart enough to pardon him before the election.
It’s their best idea yet but they won’t do it.

Many men were imprisoned by the opposition throughout the decades.
Here is a list of all the tyrannical rulers who jailed their opposition: Russia’s Putin, Iran’s Ali Khamenei, Venezuela Hugo Chavez, Panama Manuel Noriega, Egypt Hosni Mubarak, along with the Congo, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, Bangladesh and other third world countries.
And it only made freedom loving people and their imprisoned leader stronger.
If they can jail him, they can ruin you and everyone you are related to for any reason at any time.
I doubt that Trump would accept it if offered.
Trump cannot pardon himself for a state conviction. That’s up to Hochul.
The hard part about that is figuring out for what crime he is being pardoned.
He’d still be a convicted felon
And why should the shitocrats issue a pardon? They have the appeals court stacked with their flunkies, ideologues, and sycophants. The appeal is not going to help Trump. The Republic is dead and Shitocrats killed it.
Plus the felony charges would still stick to Trump forever.
No, Trump wants this overturned and the felony charges dismissed.

Took a short drive this morning. Within two blocks of the house I saw a pickup painted with Trump support statements.
