Billionaire CEO, real estate investor on impact of Trump verdict: 'Nobody wants to do business' in NYC

Prominent business executives have warned that more New York enterprises and their leaders may fall victim to "no rule of law" in the wake of Donald Trump’s guilty verdict.

"If they can do this to a business person like Donald Trump, they could do it to anybody in New York and a lot of businesses. A lot of people are concerned that there is no rule of law," billionaire CEO John Catsimatidis said Friday on "Mornings with Maria."

...

Cardone recently pulled his business out of the Empire State and cautioned that Trump’s legal troubles — including a previous $355 million fine in a New York civil fraud case in February — would "wreak financial havoc" on the city.

"I have 15,000 investors with me at Cardone Capital. We've raised $1.3 billion. If I went to them today and said, ‘I want to invest in New York City,’ they would not give me money to do that," the investor argued.

there may be a few decent people trapped in NYC but there’s very few. Other than them, they can all stay in hell, including and especially including, this judge, da, AG, AND the jury.

Look at west Hartford Connecticut. Huge amounts of capital flowing there. Multimillion dollar condos. Gogo businesses from worldwide markets. Lots of NY money as well as South American.

And don't forget Nero Wolves and Archie Goodwins. Even the murders had more class.

The state of New York has just declared itself a kingdom unto itself. Hochul is its Queen of Hearts, and Bragg its clown prince.

If you are still living within or near the vicinity of New York after this kangaroo court injustice, you’re a fool.

Crime in the subways, no big deal. Old pizza ovens, a very big deal.

Laws are ignored by criminals, therefore there is no point in passing laws to curb crime.

And therefore it's only worth lawmakers' precious time to debate and pass laws that impede and annoy law abiding citizens...

For Bragg, I would have gone with the Death Card, the Ace of Spades...

This political lawfare is the current mischief of the Democrat Party. Another misadventure in their long walk of shame in American history, starting with slavery.

well heres the delusional on part of the fed gov.

the expectation of 3rd world workers will create a 3rd world economy in nyc. The feds have high hopes these grunions will magically learn english & enough to open a small biz and or by hook or crook magically develop a newer local nyc economy . thats going to take awhile imo because the generation they imported are nothing byt crims, thieves, thugs ,a set of population that are criminaly insane and terrorists.granted there are some good souls out there but they send their funding from & odd job money money back to their homeland. try and look up the amt of govt money paid for by TAXPAYERS IN THE US and it will shake you.

This is nothibg but a wealth transfer just like those who want reperations

Catsimatidis runs WABC AM 770. They have a number of conservative hosts, including Mark Levin and Greg Kelly. However, they recently dumped Rudy Giuliani, so I’m not so sure about Catsamatidis.
