ATLANTA — The publishing group behind the movie “2,000 Mules” is apologizing to a Georgia man after the film falsely accused him of ballot fraud during the 2020 election.
On its website, Salem Media Group said it is “America’s leading radio broadcaster, Internet content provider, and magazine and book publisher targeting audiences interested in Christian and family-themed content and conservative values.”
The group said in the statement that it has “removed the film from Salem’s platforms, and there will be no future distribution of the film or the book by Salem.”
The widely debunked film includes surveillance video showing Mark Andrews, his face blurred, putting five ballots in a drop box in Lawrenceville, an Atlanta suburb, as a voiceover by conservative pundit and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza says: “What you are seeing is a crime. These are fraudulent votes.”
“It was never our intent that the publication of the 2000 Mules film and book would harm Mr. Andrews. We apologize for the hurt the inclusion of Mr. Andrews’ image in the movie, book, and promotional materials have caused Mr. Andrews and his family,” the statement said.
A state investigation found that Andrews was dropping off ballots for himself, his wife and their three adult children, who all lived at the same address. That is legal in Georgia, and an investigator said there was no evidence of wrongdoing by Andrews.

When there is absolutely NO WAY to prove or disprove what he is claiming, we will see this again.
If we could track the prog ballot mess to the point of being able to claim, as the "investigators" are, that the ballots in the video are what he claims, then everyone would know the exact path every ballot has followed.

Every t should have been crossed and every i dotted and make sure every video was actually a mule that was used in the film - "debunked" - hardly - we know ballot harvesting and mules exist...but one mistake like this and that can be used to discredit the entire thing. If he only showed up once with five ballots that was not a good example to even consider. If he showed up several times with ballots...different story
Although as far as defamation / harm to him and his family - if his face was blurred as the article says, how was he publicly identified? Did the book actually name him? The article is not clear on that.
For leftists, just one case in their favor proves their point. For conservatives it takes totality and one case otherwise disproves it all - leftists absolved.

Thanks for the clarification. I was mistaken thinking Salem was on our side. People like Erik Erickson are hopeless Never Trumpers.
Erickson’s 3-hr show was dropped by WORD 98.9 here in upstate SC and replaced with a local guy. Occasionally I would tune in only to tune out just as fast. For the most part, couldn’t stand him. Many others as well because this is a huge radio market and a strong conservative area that reaches far and wide in SC and up in NC as far as Charlotte.
He’s the second host to be dropped since Rush’s passing. The first was Dana Loesch.
