Blinken assails Russian misinformation after hinting U.S. may allow Ukraine to strike inside Russia

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday assailed Russian attempts to sow discord in democracies with misinformation after hinting the Biden administration may soon allow Ukraine to use American-supplied munitions to strike inside Russia.

In Prague for a NATO foreign ministers meeting, Blinken hit out at Moscow’s use of misinformation and disinformation, calling it a “poison” and signing an agreement with the Czech government to combat it. He also toured a Czech military base, where he saw armored vehicles that Prague is sending to Kyiv to help fight Russia’s invasion and received a briefing on a Czech initiative to supply Ukraine with a million rounds of ammunition by the end of the year.

He said the agreement with the Czechs — the 17th such accord the U.S. has signed with partner nations - would help “to effectively deal with misinformation and disinformation, which is a poison being injected into our democracies by our adversaries.”

Blinken is a liar. He knew damn well giving them long range missiles that Ukraine was going to do this.

This crap about permission is just BS cover for Zelensky because once this happens, the US will be considered in an all out war with Russia and Zelensky doesn’t want the blame.

Personally I think this is stupid to ever have said they can’t fight to win. I mean as soon as we supported them we should have let them duke it out. This gradual escalation is what leads to a broader war.

When we fight, our doctrine is to go on offense. But when we support other nations we make them play defense which just prolongs the war. Almost as if we want to help our defense industry sell weapons.

I’m not saying we should have supported Ukraine. All I’m saying is if we do give them weapons we should not tie their hands. But since we have, and now we will untie their hands...this does make us culpable. Instead if we give weapons for someone to use to defend themselves we shouldn’t put restrictions on them on how they are used.

U.S. may allow Ukraine to strike inside Russia

Just another obvious reminder of who actually controls Ukraine, started this war many years ago, and still directs all aspects of it on the Ukraine side.

“This gradual escalation is what leads to a broader war.”

I agree. That’s why I support Stand-Your-Ground laws that say if someone attacks you then you’re weapons free from that point forward.

That would have led to war even sooner. The answer was to hane intervene diplomatically to stop the friction from ever escalating. Trump would have done that had he not been impeached for just asking Zelenskyy to look into the the U.S. involvement with regards to corruption in Ukraine.

Russia may immediately respond by knocking out the electric grid and to destroy all bridges in Ukraine as a response. So far Russia has not targeted the bridges in Ukraine - coupled with the destruction of the electric grid - game over for Ukraine.

Second probably/possible resonse is to strike Poland and Romania.

Isreal has a very public military response to any nation striking Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, or WMD supplied by third parties to a conflict. They will stike the supplier of the weapons in their capital city.

If you think Russia is not going to hit back against US interests you’re living in a vacuum. Every country to include the USA would consider a N.Korean nuclear missile provided by Russia as a strike by Russia, not that anyone is providing N.Korea those weapons, but it keeps the escalations in check.

Personally, I can’t wait until Russia hits Poland and Romania - leading to a possible nuclear conflict. Biden needs to sanctioned for all time in history for what he is - a facist stooge of the global-homo elites agenda.

The British Telegraph published an article under three titles yesterday.

1. Ukraine knows it is finished.

2. Ukraine knows it has just months left to survive.

3. Without Western Arm, Ukraine may only have months left....

Can’t tell the truth can they?

I know Russia won’t strike back if we allowed it at first. Hell they can barely beat Ukraine and Ukraine has its hands tied.

And unfortunately, by delaying their ability to fight we have helped Russia adjust its tactics and learn our capabilities and adapt to them.

So we are the idiots for allowing that to occur.

Poor Antony Blinken, those bad Russians are poisoning his war. Maybe he should stick to giving out our money and playing his guitar.

I’m starting to think that’s plan B to help influence the election. Get us into a war with Russia. So this gradual escalation is exactly what they wanted and why they have kept Ukraine’s hands tied and will untie them shortly.

Source of all this Russian propaganda repeated by Putin trolls on FR and elsewhere, comes from the efforts of one prolific American turncoat now living in Russia. You will see familiar phases and accusations, often spouted by trolls on FR, came from his work in Russia creating fake news, X, and YT sites.

Excerpt:
“Dozens of new sites have appeared in recent months. They included ones made to look like local news outlets: The Chicago Chronicle, The Miami Chronicle, The Boston Times, The Flagstaff Post and The Houston Post. Some of the new sites have names, like Right Review and Red State Report.

“Some hijacked names of actual news organizations, like The San Francisco Chronicle, or approximated them, in the case of one called The New York News Daily.”

“At the time, Recorded Future (he threat intelligence company) identified 57 domains that Mr. Dougan had created. In a two-day span after the report was published, 103 new sites appeared, all on a server in California.”
