Russian shell production three times greater than of Ukraine's allies

Russia is managing to produce artillery shells at triple the speed of Ukraine’s allies for a quarter of the price, Sky News reported on May 26, referencing analysis from management consulting firm Bain & Company.

Using publicly available data, the firm claims that Russian factories can produce or refurbish 4.5 million 152 mm shells this year for $1,000 per round. European countries and the U.S. are only expected to produce 1.3 million 155 mm shells combined, at an average cost of $4,000 per unit.

Slow artillery production has hindered Ukraine’s progress on the battlefield. Soldiers claim that for every round they fire, Russia launches around five back.

A Senior Lieutenant with the 57th Brigade in Kharkiv Oblast, where Russia launched a new offensive on May 10, told Sky News that Ukraine urgently needs more supplies. However, he added that Ukrainian soldiers are making every round count and are able to destroy a target with one, two, or three shells.

“Russia is managing to produce artillery shells at triple the speed of Ukraine’s allies for a quarter of the price”

More NEOCON PROPAGANDA, don’t believe it. It’s more like 5 to 10 times as fast, for no more than 10% of the price.

But nice try!

Tucker pointed out that the MIC is charging US taxpayers like 200K for a missile they’re shipping to ukraine. When those run out, the ukrainians are substituting missles at a cost of around 20K.

This is all a scam by the deep state. Killing 100s of thousands of white Christians is just the cherry on top for these sick, demonic neoCON scum.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

1.3 million shells X $4000 per shell = $5.2 billion X 10% = $520 million for "The Big Guy" ™

So this is why Russia is winning? Oh... That’s right, they aren’t winning.

Oh well... At least they can make cheap shells... I wonder... How many of them are duds?

It’s a warning that if we get into a fight with Russia we won’t be ready. Fortunately our shells are a better quality.

I’m not associated with the people fantasizing that the US can defeat Russia in World War 3, and neither were US leaders for the past 80 years - until this bunch came into power.

Russia didn’t allow its defense industries to be taken over by Wall-Street private equity, using borrowed-printed-fiat money, and to be gathered into giant, oligopolistic enterprises - which shipped jobs overseas on one hand, and lobbied and corrupted government unceasingly for higher prices on the other.

Or rather - it DID allow it, but Putin went to war with Russia’s oligarchs 20 years ago.

The USA has yet to start that process here.

“The effectiveness of the escalation in war production is illustrated by the quantities of material manufactured: Britain alone produced nearly four million rifles, a quarter of a million machine guns, 52,000 aeroplanes, 25,000 artillery pieces and over 170 million rounds of artillery shells by the end of the war.”

The Wehrmacht found out the hard way as are the Ukrainians that more beats better. Ukraine is running out of both men and material. Russia can sustain this for as long as they want. Uncle Sugar is not going to keep it going especially when President Trump brings adults back to Washington.

Sort of like the Oahu light rail to nowhere system giving the contractors gazillions to jack up the price and cut back on deliverables to multi-gazillions.

The corruption is so universal that the only solution is going to be the collapse of the currency in the cesspool of governmnet generated unpayable debt.

Russia is now able to smash Ukrainian front lines at will.

There is a message there.

For about 15 years I wore the DoD Contract Administrator hat for two different private sector companies. So I can speak with some authority, while you're just blowing smoke. Seemingly high prices for things like 155 shells are partly the engineering difficulties in making them, and partly the volumes of rules and regulations both the DoD and the vendor have to put up with, and partly constant meddling by Congress. (In the '70s Grumman had a staff of eight people who did nothing but handle demands from Congressmonkeys and Senators.) Bottom line on that last is that the Federal Acquisition Regulations generally let us fend off the politicians, despite what you're thinking. That's the short, short, short answer. Been there, done that, burned the T-shirt. Don't let me get revved up on this subject, just don't.

Who will tame America’s MIC oligarchs here? Add to list of Trump to-do’s if he is able to return next year?

Do you realize that you not only validated our disdain for the crooked, useless MIC you also outed your own allegiance to it? GFY parasite.
