Putin’s war drove them together. Putin needs Xi for military and civilian products which Russia is no longer able to access or produce on its own.
China loves Putin’s weakness, as it give them an excuse to force Putin to cede parts of Russia’s Far East which Russia took from China.
Bad as Biden is, he had nothing to do with the Putin Chicom alliance which goes back to Clinton and the immediate post-Tiananmen time before Clinton.

Russia needed cash. Chicoms wanted military equipment and technology. Russia sold it to them.
Clinton and Bush did nothing about it and sold Chicoms other tech Russia didn’t have.

I find it amazing that no one talks about the absolute inflection point which, I believe, will ultimately lead to the demise of the United States. That exact moment happened when the Biden administration seized the assets of Russia following the incursion into Ukraine. At that very moment I believe the entire world woke up and saw that America could no longer be trusted, especially with financial matters. Since that moment in time you have basically seen the entire world running from the USA and seeking to financially deleverage from the US.
We have simply not yet seen the full consequences that are currently unfolding. But come those consequences assuredly will and they will be devastating.

A direct act of war. It astounds me that Russia has been so mute on that point. However, I do think this has likely hardened the resolve Putin to methodically work to internationally deconstruct the US.

I have a hard time believing it. These two leaders have been allies for a long time.
