In the Cultural Marxists' "long march through the institutions," perhaps their toughest conquest was the Boy Scouts of America. This past week the BSA finally fully succumbed to the life-draining internal parasites with which it was infected 11 years ago after decades of stalwart resistance.
As with so many aspects of the fundamental transformation America has suffered in the 21st century, the turning point in the takedown of the Boy Scouts was an Obama operation – headed by deep-state swamp creature Rex Tillerson with a major assist by then-Defense Secretary Robert Gates.

That was exactly my reaction when I saw the old Bishop's house, which was sold at auction to fund the homo-pedo-priest victim-compensation awards.
My other immediate thought - what would Satan do? He would tempt you to your downfall, and then laugh at your fallen and humiliated condition. And he's certainly laughing at this....
His Webelo group had outdoor stuff - hiking, swimming, campfire cooking, naturalist activities. They just did too much ‘boring’ stuff to keep his interest. It wasn’t what he thought of as ‘boy fun’.
As a s out leader I have to agree with teem8er. Bringing girls into the program was a good move for society as a whole. The troops work separately as the kids mature at different rates, however the girls are just as capable in the rough outdoors. Kindly remember this, in the early days of our founding, it wasn’t just the men who moved westward. Both the men and women of that time were looking for a tough individualism for a spouse.
It isn’t much different today. I will also say the girls will easily hold their own outdoors.

Maybe that’s the reason they’re wiping the floor with us in this culture war - too many of us expect Satan or God to come to rescue us, whereas they take matters in their own hands and get what they want.
God helps those who help themselves, and our side is doing squat in that regard.

You must be kidding. There is one group of people that were the biggest reason I stopped coaching youth sports years ago: single mothers.
It didn’t take me long to notice a pattern with the kids of these mothers that would scare away any normal, responsible adult:
1. Many of these kids were troublemakers — to the point of being incorrigible.
2. The willingness of these mothers to put their kids under the supervision of total strangers was both reckless and irresponsible.
3. Without even doing any research on the subject, I can guarantee you that the children of single mothers make up the vast majority of the victims of sex predators.

No offense, but you aren’t going to find too many people on this website who buy into your silly, delusional “it takes a village to raise a child” mentality.
As a five-year Cubmaster I totally disagree. While dens and patrols could conceivably be kept separate, pack, troop, and council events would be coed. So would advertising for everything in "Scouts USA". Why is that a problem? Because the perception that scouting is for everyone destroys every notion that "this is what boys do". Do guys invite their wives to poker night? No, because it changes the dynamic and you'll never get more guys to join your game if they know there are women involved.
Like Dark Helmet said, Evil wins because good is dumb.
Some of the strategies included,
- making homosexual characters portrayed in popular entertainment culture look normal and harmless, if not funny and inspiring.
- giving instant victim status to homosexuals in every area of public life.
- demonize those who do not accept or at least are not simply ambivalent about homosexuality.
Over decades, this slow grinding away at society paid off.

we are not talking a village... just shared values helping one another. that’s the scout way... for me just under 20 years, assisted mentoring in over 20 eagle scouts.
not selling anything, so no one has to buy in, just helping others at all times.

five years... you’re just a cub yourself... 20 years and i have mentored over 20 eagle scouts.
the program is what the leaders make of it.
I still occasionally see them selling popcorn outside of grocery stores, so I know the corpse is still twitching.
