Immigrants, mostly from Africa, flooded a meeting in New York City on Tuesday with complaints that the free food and free housing they are being given are not good enough for them despite the tens of billions in tax dollars spent to care for them.
Hundreds of migrants, many of whom are Muslims from Africa, told members of the New York City Council at City Hall that the tax-funded freebies they are receiving are not adequate for them and those with families.
The migrants were invited to speak to the city’s immigration committee on Tuesday, and one woman was heard complaining about the free food and blasted city officials for not giving them more permanent places to live for free.

When this topic was on a thread yesterday they had a picture of some of the unhappy “immigrants”.
A far cry from the legal Ellis Island immigrants thrilled to somehow be allowed to be here and get a 6 days a week no benefits job but to work to build a good life and become an American citizen.
The British singer Graham Nash of Crosby, Stills and Nash wrote in his autobiography of the day when, after weeks of studying and delays for paperwork and rules to be followed he was finally standing with his hand up to take his oath in the court building with a group of others to become a US citizen. He held back tears.
Crosby and Stills left the building with him and pooled their cash together to buy him a hot dog from the cart outside.

It seems that anyone with any sense would realize that we can’t keep up this extravagant largesse for so many people. They should have known that they’d wind up wanting, if they came here.
I don’t blame ignorant people from very poor countries so much as I blame the criminal politicians here who convinced them it was a good idea to come.

They go to meetings? That’s surprising but not so much when it’s a chance to ASK FOR MORE!!!! Why isn’t the Muslim community in NYC taking care of them? They don’t mind going there to get pointers on how to carry out the next bombing - ie Boston Marathon....

On the bright side, the Africans are already assimilating by acting entitled.
They have a point. All but the most expensive of food there is mediocre.
