Conservative groups backing former president Donald Trump in his re-election bid say they are "deeply disappointed" with his official position on abortion unveiled Monday, but it won't deter their support in November.
The former president and presumptive GOP nominee in a video posted on Truth Social Monday morning said he cemented his position on the controversial issue, saying that abortion access should be a states’ issue and didn’t endorse a national, federal limitation – like a 15-week ban.
Pro-life interest groups who have endorsed Trump expressed disappointment at his announcement, but it appears unlikely to sway their support in consideration of Trump’s overall stance compared to Biden’s extreme abortion policy.
"The reality of a stark choice between President Biden who supports abortion: any number, any reason, up until birth, all paid for by the taxpayer and President Trump: who gave us three Constitutionalist justices, 220 lower court judges, appointees who support life and the overturn of Roe v. Wade has my endorsement and support in November for President," said Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women for America (CWA), who said she "favors federal limits on abortion."

I explicitly said Biden should not be supported, you illiterate cretin.
Thank you for stating that truth. Reagan had the correct pro-life position. Trump chickened out.
But you’re simply trying to do what Alinsky told you to do. Alinsky was a liar.
Trump’s strongest quality is his morality. You’ll never stop him, neither will any of the pedophiles.
You might as well try to stop an avalanche with a feather.

Agreed
Absurd. The headline itself explains exactly why this was the correct move for President Trump.
If you want the left to win in November, keep pushing this stance and you’ll get four more years of the vegetable in the White House, and that’s a guaranteed fact.
It wasn’t hard for Trump.
He simply did what he said he would do.
“ which means he would be fine with none if that’s what the voters chose”
That’s EXACTLY what he means and that’s what overturning Roe v. Wade always meant.
The “Constitutional right” announced in Roe was always an obscenity BECAUSE it prevented the People in their States from legislating on this matter as they had done until 1973.
He didn’t do anything, did he?
He’s running for President...not Governor of Florida.
You mean when Trump killed Roe v Wade?
He said leave it to the states. That’s the constitutional answer and the correct answer.
You are just trying to cause trouble.
Make abortion the number one issue going into the election numb nuts. See what happens…………
“if you want the left to win in November, keep pushing this stance and you’ll get four more years of the vegetable in the White House, and that’s a guaranteed fact.”
That’s exactly what he wants.
I want Trump to have the Reagan abortion position:
-Say it’s a state’s issue
-Say you want it abolished at the state levels
Trump failed to do that. It’s fine to criticize him when he fails conservatism. This is not a cult.
Admitting when Trump has gone to the left is important. All humans sin and go astray from God’s Word. I will pray for your soul.
Roe v Wade was a blight on our nation—a devastating wound, a festering sore and a horrible cancer on our society.
But Trump killed Roe v Wade.
Now the left is trying to say Trump isn’t strong on abortion. But they’re liars, and only other liars believe them.
But Trump is better than Reagan.
The only ones speaking against Trump are the leftists and the rinos.
No one else.
Trump’s position is the only Constitutional position. The Constitution doesn’t say anything about abortion, and Congress has no police authority over abortion in states any more than it can pass laws against murder without any connection to Federal officials or civil rights.
