"However, CIA officials believe in its current form, Section 702 limits the intelligence community from targeting everyone"
This sentence without the fentanyl fig leaf is probably more accurate. The open border and non existent enforcement has exacerbated the crisis.
And true to form, the self induced crisis is now used to try and seize more power.

So, they REALLY want us to believe that they self-policed themselves and didn’t use 702 for anything on the southern border.
Additionally, they REALLY want us to believe that they now are subject to Congressional oversight.
C’mon, man.

The CIA needs to lose powers, not gain them. They have abused the Constitution and should be held accountable.

They import millions of criminals as an excuse to spy on everyone.
That's it.
They are not interested in catching criminals. They want to keep tabs on all of us.

Fentanyl? OK, now you’re the Central Immigration Agency. Go to Texas and guard the border instead of poking through Americans’ communications.

If they actually cared a rip about fentanyl the border would not be wide open.
For all we know they invented the stuff.

This has happened because American citizens have all become fat, dumb and lazy.
The citizenry assumes that Congress intuits its will and legislates accordingly.
Your legislators regard you as dumb beasts of the field to be patronized at best.

I find this hilarious, the CIA is the Drug Cartels, the only reason they want this info is so they can go after those that don’t fall in line and think they can start their own Drug Dealing business...They need to Eliminate the Competition is all.

The CIA’s job on Fentanly resides in Mexico and covertly going after those sources in Mexico. The second part is law enforcement at the southern border, nearly to the point of closing it. We don’t need any expansion of title 702 under any excuse.

Maybe they should stop letting truck loads of fentanyl to come across our border. I would start there instead of giving away more of our freedom to the government.
