Hey there, radu!

It was really nice here. Sunny and on the cool side of warm with not much wind.

Sounds like not a very nice day there, for sure. Hope you didn’t have to get out. I also hope that there weren’t any violent storms in your area.

Lucky you! No wind was a plus.
It wouldn’t have been too bad here if not for the wind whipping like it did. It was sunny when I woke up and 60 degrees, then more clouds rolled in and it dropped to 50 by 3:30 or so when I headed out to run a couple of errands. A heavy shower rolled through while I was out and the temp dropped to 44. The sun was back out when I got home and it was up to 50 again. Crazy day.
Still breezy now but not as bad as it was.

It was quite pleasant. Tomorrow the same. 81 high and high 50s at night. Then on Friday and Saturday the wind starts up again and it cools off to the 70s. I am NOT going to complain. I think this time last year, we were already into the 90s or close. A nice long moderate spring is a dream!

You had the whole week’s worth of weather and temps in one day! LOL! The roller coaster on warp speed! Days like that make your head sping. Too bad you had to get out after it started getting chilly. Hope you had your jacket with you.

Your temps sound pretty good. Compared to this time last year, they’re great.

It was 80 here yesterday for a while, then backed off a few degrees late afternoon. It felt cooler because the wind was blowing so hard. It was very brisk today due to the wind so yes, I wore a heavy jacket.
Until that big low moves off to the Atlantic, we’ll have wind. It doesn’t seem to be in a hurry. *sigh*

I’m ready for Sunday when we warm up to 70, where we should be.

Hard to have a better friend than your dog...or cat. Our troops deserve the best of friends, and they would be US!

We’ll have about the same temperature on Sunday. Wonder where we’ll go from there. Hope it’s not into the furnace any time soon!

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

I had to get a new coffee maker because the one I had for several years went down on me yesterday. Thankfully I didn't have to drive up all the way to Duncan to get a new one. The local Dollar General in town had one.

Yesterday at Wichita Ridge:

How's everyone doing this morning?

I hope you’re lucky enough not to get too hot next week. We’ll have 70s through at least next Wednesday - - along with rain chances every day. *sigh*

OOOOOOO! How’z about sendin’ some of that pretty blue sky over here. LOL It’s been dreary gray for days now.

Gizmo sure looks like he enjoyed the outing at Wichita Ridge.

I fear that you are having exactly the opposite of the drought that you were experiencing last year. Are the farmers having any problems with getting on with their crops? Is the rain coming at the right time?

I just checked the next ten days’ forecast and it’s mostly in the low to middle 70s after those 2 days of low 80s. I’m very happy to see that! One day of a chance of rain, but I don’t have much hope that it actually will. We still sit at about 1 1/4” for the YEAR. That’s pretty darn sad.

He sure did. We had the park to ourselves yesterday.

The campground host brought his dog out to enjoy the nice weather by his trailer. Giz was aroused but with the leash, I was able to keep him focused.

I also have to keep the leash on him when going to the bathroom early in the mornings like this one. If I don't he will sometime hide under the disability ramp. I don't want him under there in the mornings because there may be something under there.

This is typical Spring weather. April showers bring May flowers. We aren’t going to have wash-outs every day but chances for a shower to hit at one time or another are there.

We don’t need dry spells so the farmers can start plowing though. It’s that time of year. Dusty has already sprayed weed killer in preparation, though he probably won’t plow. Doesn’t need to to plant corn. The guy across the raos hasn’t done anything to his field yet. There’s plenty of time though. It’s too early to plant just yet.

Your 10-day forecast sounds great. It’ll be even better if you do get that one day of rain.

Enjoy those days with the park to yourselves while you can. It won’t be long before it’s crowded most of the time.

Yep, now that it’s warming up, there’s no telling what could be lurking underneath the ramp. It’s a good place for all kinds of varmints to hide.
