Good evening, radu...a payroll snag right now. I’m just watching. I don’t think I’m needed for anything, but I will stand by.

Hope your day has gone well. No rain for a while, or is it still raining?

Thanks for the post!
It’s great to see there are still Americans supporting our troops. I have seen some here on FR mocking them with memes, and they got away with it... it’s sad.

Without our military we would all be slaves already.
Freedom doesn’t come for free, protecting America and the West is a dangerous and complicated task.

America’s military is the best in the world, something we must all be proud of..

Thanks for doing these threads.

Always read but seldom post.

During the war in Afghanistan I spent 2 years volunteering at Walter Reed on the amputation ward.

My respect for our military went through the roof and is NEVER coming down!

Thanks again!!!!

Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...hope your spring is on the way so you and Tippy can enjoy your walks again.

I dared to think our spring might be here, but yesterday brought a little more snow, with threats of more tomorrow. Spring is trying.

Howdy, Kathy.

Jus’ wunnerful. A payroll snag. Keeping fingers crossed someone else can deal with it and give you a much-needed break.

Windy and chilly here today and there have been scattered showers coming through. Might be a little more before the night’s over. At least we had some sunshine periodically.

I saw a little blue sky up there today as well as melting on the parking lots. Too bad the bare pavement won’t stay bare long. :-(

April 4

In God’s Arms

Bible in a Year :

I will be with him in trouble.

Psalm 91:15

The sound of the drill terrified five-year-old Sarah. She leaped out of the dentist’s chair and refused to get back in. Nodding understandingly, the dentist told her father, “Daddy, get into the chair.” Jason thought he was meant to show his daughter how easy it was. But then the dentist turned to the little girl and said, “Now, climb up and sit in Daddy’s lap.” With her father now cradling her in his reassuring arms, Sarah relaxed completely, and the dentist was able to continue.

That day, Jason learned a great lesson about the comfort of the presence of his heavenly Father. “Sometimes, God [chooses not to] take over what we have to go through,” he said. “But God was showing me, ‘I will be there with you.’ ”

Psalm 91 speaks of the comforting presence and power of God that gives us the strength to face our trials. Knowing that we can rest in His powerful arms gives us great assurance, as does His promise to those who love Him: “He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble” (v. 15).

There are many unavoidable challenges and trials in life, and we will inevitably have to go through pain and suffering. But with God’s reassuring arms wrapped around us, we’ll be able to bear our crises and circumstances, and let Him strengthen our faith as we grow through them. .

Reflect & Pray

What trials are you going through now? How can you remind yourself that God is always with you?

Gracious Father, thank You for Your reassuring presence in my circumstances. Please help me through them, knowing that You’re always with me.
