Most of the time, you're excited to return home after a vacation. That wasn't the case after Jimmy Kimmel's recent trip to Japan with his family.
"After traveling to Japan, I realize that this place, this USA we're always chanting about, is a filthy and disgusting country," the host said on Monday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
The ABC host admitted that before spending seven days in Japan, he believed America was a country that had its faults and "areas for improvement," but that it was "pretty buttoned up" compared to the rest of the world.
"I go to Europe, and there are dirt holes where plumbing is supposed to be. I hold my breath, and I go, 'I'm glad I'm not one of these people,' and then I go back home," Kimmel explained. That wasn't the case when it came to the Land of the Rising Sun.
"It's like the whole country is Disneyland and we're living at Six Flags," Kimmel said. "I've been home 36 hours, I have never felt dirtier. We are like hogs compared to the Japanese. I can't imagine what they must think of us. 'Oh, the garbage people. Yes, the Americans. Garbage.'"
The late-night host said that he didn't encounter a single dirty bathroom during his time in the country.

Thanks to you Lefty POSes.
Everything filthy and disgusting, about this country, was caused by libs, like YOU, brainless Kimmel.
Jimmy Kimmel is a tw*t.
fill in your choice of vowel.
He just can’t overcome his cognitive dissonance
I think he has a crush on Disneyland “fairies.”
.
Yep, The USA ‘Rats are busy creating Urban Utopian S#holes.
Escape from LA and NYC, Jimmy.
Nothing that a little cultural enrichment can’t fix
I’m always looking at what this bonehead says about current events.(sarcasm)
Kimmel is a stupid person, who shouldn’t ever be taken seriously.
If this anti-American, narcoleptic POS hates America, why doesn’t he move lock, stock and barrel to Tokyo? Good riddance.
Jimmy, they also don’t have illegals or people claiming reparations for being slaves in a former life, nor do they spend much on their military or social programs.
I spent a summer in Tokyo. I can attest that they do keep the place spotless. It does get trashed on weekends...then at 4AM on Sunday morning massive crews clean things up, so when you wake up Sunday morning...the streets are immaculate.
Not unlike Charlotte, NC (one of the cleanest cities in the USA, imho).
Cleaner than anywhere though is Switzerland. It actually makes you a bit nervous...how utterly perfect things are there. It’s a relief to go into Germany (with just a little trash...very little) as the place feels lived in.
Jimmy?
He is the poster boy for “People with no talent, ready to gross you out for a laugh, and worthless, to boot!
HE IS A SHOCK JOCK with no talent but gross.
ESAD, Jimmy.
I have not seen that POS since he was stealing Ben Stein’s money!!!!!
We haven't always looked filthy, kicked the homeless and mentally ill to the curb, or treated crime as normal and acceptable. Hopefully, we can recover and clean our cities, house and treat the homeless and mentally ill, and put some law & order in stopping crime, all crime.
They don’t tolerate open borders, DEI, or WOKE culture in Japan.
Simple.
Charlotte is pretty modern and clean for an American city. But I do not go in the north side of the town that often.
I seriously can’t stand Jimmy Kimmel. I could go on all night about why I can’t stand people like him.
Oh yeah, good catch.
Although publically polite, Japan is one of the most racist countries in the world. They believe non-diversity is their great strength, and they have a point. America was wise to drop the democratic socialist bomb on them after WWII. It destroyed their national finances and capability to take over the world.
A lot of people don’t recognize the wisdom of Jordan Peterson when he suggests that people need to “clean up your room”. If you can’t keep your own room picked up, you have no business trying to do more complicated things, such as telling other people how to live their lives.
