Former National Security Advisor John Bolton said in an interview that his former boss, former President Trump “doesn’t have the brains” to be a dictator, as questions arise about what a second Trump term would look like.
Conservative French outlet Le Figaro asked Bolton if Trump had dictatorial tendencies in an interview published Thursday.
“He hasn’t got the brains! He’s a property developer for God’s sake!” Bolton replied.
Trump, the lone remaining contender for the GOP presidential nomination, met with Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán earlier this month. The meeting at his Mar-a-Lago estate continued his embrace of autocratic leaders who are part of pushing back on democratic norms.

The Romans were not known for their mercy towards murderers… or slaves or people who made jokes about the Emperor.
But what Bolton really means is that President Trump lacks the motivation to be a dictator, unlike Bolton if he could wield the power.

Hope Trump hits the issues hard and ignores Bolton’s attempt to lure him into responding to personal attacks.
This to me points out Trump’s weakness as President. Not being a career politician he had to rely on DC “experts” for people to fill administration slots lie Bolton. Many of them turned out to be RINOs or out right anti Trumpers in disguise. I don’t think that will happen if he gets re-elected and he should unless he crashes into Arkancide.

A “property developer” that is only ranked among the top 500 richest men on the planet and a man who has built a financial empire and political movement based solely on the strength of his own character. Oh that guy could never be a dictator /s.
Now why am I arguing that Trump could become a dictator again?
Wouldn’t Trump have done this his first term in office, so he could be President for life.
Bolton has the utmost respect for dictators, as long as they work with him to set up the next war.
