A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit challenging a District of Columbia law allowing “noncitizen residents” to vote in local elections.
Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an appointee of President Barack Obama, found that a group of seven citizen plaintiffs lacked standing to challenge the legislation.
Their lawsuit against the D.C. Board of Elections, filed on March 14, aimed to block the 2022 law passed by the Council of the District of Columbia.
They argued that “noncitizens” do not have a fundamental right to vote in the United States and that allowing them to cast ballots and hold office in the District of Columbia dilutes the votes of U.S. citizens.
“It follows from our national independence that United States citizens have a right to govern, and be governed by, themselves. The constitutional right to citizen self-government, moreover, has been recognized in repeated holdings of the Supreme Court of the United States,” their complaint reads. “Nor does any noncitizen have a constitutional right to govern the United States,” the complaint adds.

I thought SCOTUS had already ruled on this issue and stated illegal aliens did not have the right to vote in U.S. elections.
But, it matters not if this ruling will eventually be overturned. The current status will get them through November's election which is all they need to lock in their dictatorship and forever-rule.

Amazing how ‘Lacked Standing’ is so often the excuse the courts use to punt cases they rather not see the light of day.
I love the way these bastards always find a way to rule in a way that benefits the left. In this case ‘lack of standing’. This happened with some of the challenges to the 2020 election, as well.

SCROTUS no longer matters as of Tuesday when the fifth circuit court over turned them. Law in the us is selective and no longer matters.
I mention this because Senator Harry Reid expanded the DC Court to become the nest of Communist evil it is today. The J6 Patriots rotting in the DC Gulag are a direct result of this packing by Reid.
I mention Merrick because he is the precedent for what should be done if Trump wins and Congress falls out of enemy hands. Dissolve the DC court. Boot the Commie Judges out. Reform the Court with better judges.
So, instead of DC voting 95% Dem, it will be 98%.
If judges say we the citizens have no standing, that leaves us with little say in a civil society.
And so it begins. The total destruction by the rats and rinos of the USA as we know it. I believe every judge, DA, politician who pushes these Anti-Constitutional policies and breaks the law like this should be arrested and indicted for treason.
