Russia is an enemy of this country. They would like to attack us if we are weak. Here is the evidence of their objectives in regards to Alaska. If Russia is not a third world country it is surely the next thing to it.

To be honest, something just doesn't add up with them...

Most of us are NOT rooting for Putin - we feel this is a stupid war to get involved in. Until our border is secure and our treasure safe there is zero reason to go off to ‘save the world’.

Russia has an economy a little larger than Italy’s. It’ nuts to act like they’re China... they’re not.

Are we backing ‘Barbeque’ if we don’t want to join the civil war in Haiti? There’s wars all over the planet. Ukraine is corrupt - Russia is corrupt. Tell me why it matters to u? And don’t give that stupid domino theory.

Russia has an economy a little larger than Italy’s.

Misleading. Look at GDP (PPP).

Russian ruble is worthless. But in Russia, it's a different story. So looking at GDP by market value is misleading.

Ah,

So after we took over in 2014 we decided that if a war should ever begin, which would be likely if we keep pushing this NATO East expansion issue, our boy (whoever that is) gets to stay in power.

How convenient.

Meanwhile, in Russia they have elections: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Russian_presidential_election

People keep saying that but Russia was not an enemy until the US started interfering in Ukraine. What’s happening is people like you are propagandizing by playing on deeply seated fears cultivated during the cold war.

All that is a natural response to NATO and US aggression. The US would do the same if China stirred up Mexico and trained and equipped an army to first harass western citizen living there, shelling and oppressing them, then start open war. Setting up biological labs under thin pretenses. The outcry in the US would be fierce.

It isn’t a matter of ‘rooting for Putin’ with regard to this election issue. WE, the US are asked (begged, chided, blamed, extorted, et al) to give money and weapons to a “Free Ukraine” and there are no free elections, apparently. This martial law thing is a circular argument and mainly caused by Zelensky.

How Russia is using Chechens really doesn’t come into it.

That is because we thought when the Soviet regime was gone that the Russians would become enlightened and peaceful but that didn't happen. Russia is a violent thuggish society corrupt to its core and only learns the hard way as they will hopefully learn from their invasion of Ukraine. It is Russia that is interfering in Ukraine, fool, If you can't see that then you are just a Putin stooge and likely a Russian troll.

Ivan you are crazy. You have got to be a Russian troll if you seriously believe that. If you do not live in Russia then you need to go their since obviously you deserve to live there. The US is not an aggressor we are defending the decent world because people like you are a threat to it.

So, you have zero personal knowledge of Ukraine. You’ve NEVER been there and want to dismiss the entire population based upon a few malcontents you found among refugees. All countries have malcontents including America.

People like me caused this war?!!! I did not invade the Republic of Georgia and Ukraine and constantly threaten other neighbors. Seems like you are pretty good at name calling. But the name of Neo-Stalinist fits you. You are filled with hate for freedom-loving Ukrainians and see no threat among those who attempt nuclear blackmail at every military reversal. You do not have a Texas heart to place victory laurels upon the brutal invader’s head. Like your screen name you are a Red as in a filthy stinking commie criminal.

What a bunch of feelings based garbage you wrote.

Real simple question, did you support this?: https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukrainian-president-zelenskiy-holding-talks-with-biden-adviser-says-2021-12-09/

If yes, then YOU are responsible for a war.

No nation lives in a vacuum and when we make decisions which impact the national security of a neighbor and then try to hide behind some idea of sovereignty, that is not a sincere argument.

We would not accept the situation we put Russia in and in fact have not may it be the Cuban Missile Crisis or Grenada (a major foreign power setting up on ones border). If YOU were in Russia’s shoes YOU would not accept the situation either, just like I would not, so it’s a highly insincere argument to pretend that Russia did something unexpected or wrong.

People like you think you’re Patriotic because you destroy a nation, just like the Nazis did with Germany.

Putin set out to destroy the era of good feelings established by Yeltsin. Putin instituted Soviet nostalgia. Putin had the Neo-Soviet maps made, some including Alaska as part of Russia.

We do tolerate anti-American governments on our border. Yet we have no more a fear of a conventional blitz from Mexico and Russia has no true fear of a blitz from NATO ... just look at the offensive potential of NATO. It is an organized minimalist defensive org. Yet Neo-Soviet aggression has driven even the neutrality-loving Swedes into the arms of NATO. Put that in your pipe and smoke it you fake Texan troll.

You support the murder and brain washing of children so you really are a sicko.

Two more point:

I have no more love for Ukraine than I do for Russia, I favor neither, I have no hatred for either. They are the same people (Slavic, Orthodox, Rus, similar language...) that are merely divided based on economic interests and massive outside meddling. Both Russia and Ukraine are a people that offer something to the world, I see it as a horrible waste that they are at war, a horrible injustice that (((we - our Biden administration))) pushed this into a war with our poor policies. And worst of all, it's hard to deny that Biden didn't know better: https://www.facebook.com/rishibagree/videos/1997-the-only-thing-that-could-provoke-a-vigorous-and-hostile-russian-response-w/1131428724346357/ Russia does not want us playing with our military on their border and after 2004 Russia decided that they will use military force if need be. We simply have “business interests” in Ukraine, so they are the good guys for us, but they are neither better nor worse than the Russians.

Regards the young Ukrainian man we spoke to in Germany, he was no low life or malcontent. Simply a boy with parents that love him and wanted him to stay alive, so that he does not die in an unnecessary war people like you thought was a good idea. He was a boy without a family, they were still in Ukraine, and there are many sad stories like this. If this war were costing American lives the way Ukrainians are dying, it would have never happened (no US policy maker would support that), it would have ended by now, and people would not be talking like this: https://www.facebook.com/RevolutionIreland/videos/senator-lindsey-graham-who-has-been-up-to-his-tits-in-ukraine-since-2016httpsrig/1218472818909921/ This is us being very casual with the lives of others. Sometimes, the people we think are our friends, really aren't.

That is the truth, Ivan. All the rest of the world knows what is going on in Ukraine.
