Measles was considered eliminated in 2000 because most Americans were vaccinated against the disease or had some level of immunity.

Antivaxxers? When did they start using experimental mRNA “vaccines” for measles?

Thank you for referencing that article Bon of Babble. Please note that the following critique is directed at Congress and not at you.

"America on verge of measles MAYHEM: Hundreds feared to be infected in California and Arizona outbreaks as US suffers year's worth of cases in two months - as doctors say antivaxxers and Biden's [??? emphasis added] open border policy are allowing virus to spread"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Congress has always been able to impeach and remove likewise corrupt Biden from office, but is instead protecting him imo.

So a predicable measles epidemic because of elite Democratic politically correct open borders belongs to Congress imo.

It's actually up to us patriots to effectively "impeach and remove" corrupt Congress by IMMEDIATELY primarying ALL incumbent state and federal lawmakers and executively up for reelection this year, replacing them with Trump-supporting lawmakers in November who will support him to finish draining the swamp.

The US media has yet to seriously report this measles outbreak, while it continues to spread COVID panic. I think measles is just a harbinger of worse epidemics to come as a result of open borders. Expect outbreaks of TB, exotic STDs, tropical diseases and God forbid Ebola.

I trust my immune system and therapeutics. But I still want the illegals returned to their countries of origin, or sent somewhere far worse by force if necessary, to return only through a legal port of entry, or not.

IIRC-— babies today get MMR shots ERY early in life in the USA.

This is not an anti-vax problem-—

IT TOTALLY is a OPEN BORDERS PROBLEM

Take reasonable precautions and measles isn’t unbeatable. I have really had it three times way back when and I’m still alive. To be sure, I was sick and I remember what it was like all these years later. But, sheesh. Don’t panic.

The Covid years completely broke my remaining trust in government.
Especially when they resort to blame throwing rather than cool analysis.
A few unvaccidated kids are an insignificant threat compared to millions of illegals.
Death rate is about 0.2%, comparable to what they said about Covid.

With millions entering illegally, many of which are infected with God knows what, with Fentanyl pouring across the border by the ton, who out there thinks this government gives two shits about the welfare of Americans?

Anyone?

I fail to see the problem. I had pretty much all the varieties of measles growing up, as did my 2 brothers. While it was a miserable existence for a couple of days, the immunities I developed were worth it.

One pamphlet described the toll of a 2018-19 measles outbreak in Washington state that sickened 72 people, most of whom were unvaccinated, costing $76,000 in medical care, $2.3 million for the public health response, and an estimated $1 million in economic losses due to illness, quarantine, and caregiving.
.....

Let’s unpack this:

72 people, most of whom were unvaccinated, costing $76,000 in medical care,
....
MOST is a wiggle word. How many MOST?

76000 dollars in care is a little more than 1000 dollars in care each on average. Not an unusual amount to spend on Healthcare when ill. Easily met when mandatory blood work x-rays and other tests are needed to defend against lawsuits.
...........
........

$2.3 million for the public health response
...

This is the government’s chosen response. Ads interviews. Internet alerts and other budget busting choices.

.......
.......

an estimated $1 million in economic losses due to illness, quarantine, and caregiving.
....
Each of the 76,000 lost or caused the loss on average $13.57 due to illness quarantine and caregiving.

.................

Either measles are no big deal or they can’t count.
