A House Oversight and Accountability subcommittee hearing Tuesday examined threats to the security and reliability of the U.S. electricity grid, which can lead to more blackouts.
While reliability assessments regularly find that increased reliance on wind and solar, increased demand from electrification, an underbuilt electrical delivery network, and rapid retirements of on-demand generators are creating an increased risk of blackouts, Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., ranking member of the subcommittee, instead blamed other sources of the problem, namely, white supremacy. She also threw in "climate change" for good measure.

Cori Bush - Prime example of what Trump meant when he said “We have to get the stupid people out of Washington”. How someone so low on the IQ scale gets elected is beyond me.
....she’s losing by 22 points ?
It’s about damn time..... the squad’s time in the sun is over and none too soon.
I’ll say it: Compassionate Americans of many stripes have bent over backwards to afford “people of color” a voice and opportunity. We’ve been taken advantage of.
Ditto border policies.
Some of the problems ,at least, wouldn’t be that hard to overcome. Then along comes somebody that suggests answers in a way that only makes things worse. Reliance on solar & wind was never an answer & it doesn’t need to be that way, but calling the problem being one of “white supremacy” & “climate change” is just plain stupid. In this big country, there must be people they could get that would at least have a small dose of common sense. Getting the delivery network built up might be a big project, but it needs to be done. Getting more conventional power sources built is not inexpensive, but neither are wind generators & solar arrays & they just don’t fill the bill. “White supremacy” & “climate change”??? What do you do with that? Who are they hiring these days? high school dropouts?
These criminals will try to murder us in camps.
She should visit the homeland Africa and see what her people have done
Only the clinically insane or monumentally stupid could believe this cynical reprobate.
This woman has to be in the same IQ quartile as Hank Johnson.
In a world not dominated by wokester communists unionized propagandists masquerading as teachers, this idiot’s constituents would be the ones. As it stands…an accident, maybe?
Not me. I was on my county GOP Board of Directors for over 25 years. It was a lot of fun, I held every position except chair, no way would I do that, herding cats would be more fun.
The point is, many, many, many pols are not very bright. They do one or two things most of us don’t do, charm and the ability to speak publicly. That’s about it. Good looks help too, but not as much as I used to believe…Larry Hogan.
In Africa Cori Bush would be a village idiot but in the US she’s get to help run the country ,LOL
Perhaps Ms. Bush should look at things through a lens other than racism or jealousy. Objectively, cultures seem to vary in measures of success. A culture that is not thriving would seem wise to emulate those that do.
Suggest this for Ms. Bush:
Define meaningful measures of a successful culture, dispassionately gather data, evaluate and make conclusions . This is a far more difficult exercise than blaming others. It takes unusual courage, objectivity, leadership to effect change, and… love.
Perhaps what I’m suggesting will be just dismissed as white supremacy. The fact is, I want thriving families, good neighbors, good citizens, and for everyone to live in peace as God’s children.
She obviously hasn’t seen photos of the urban “electric grid” found in minority-majority countries.
GREAT example/pic. Evidence. Thanks.
TRUE
Good news. Thanks of the information.
They get voted in by the low IQ voters in their districts. Mad Maxie Pad, Shelia Jackson Lee and AOC are really good examples of low IQ voters.
It’s the stupid battery cars always plugged in trying to charge up
