The Department of Veterans Affairs office dedicated to rooting out racism and harassment is itself a “hostile, toxic work environment with a permissive culture of rampant gossiping and innuendo,” where multiple layers of top officials participated in and covered up sexual harassment, an internal agency review concluded.
At one point, a senior manager fired a mid-level manager because both men wanted to sexually harass the same employee. When a complaint was filed, a political appointee sat on it, apparently partly for racial reasons.

I occasionally get an email second hand from the local DAV chapter where a VA employee is asking us vets to give rides for other vets to VA hospitals and other VA appointments.
This VA employee signs off with its pronouns.
What a turnoff. There’s no way in hell I’d even consider responding to that freaks emails. To answer this weirdo’s email is acknowledging this mentally ill crap.
One thing I cannot figure out is why women stay in jobs where they are being sexually harassed?
Of course, I have never been successful either. Maybe if I was the type of person willing to navigate in a cesspool I would have been.

The VA isn’t a place for Democrat voters to get a job.
US veterans number about 8% of the population. That includes active duty military and reservists. It is a slightly higher percentage of the adult population.
Regardless, it’s not a big %, and it’s getting smaller every year as the draftees of Vietnam die off.
Unlike nearly all agencies, the VA spends about 8% of total government spending — aligning perfectly with the % of the population total. It is also the single most supported agency in government in both parties.
Haven’t seen a video of a DEI administrator that wasn’t Hostile and Toxic. I think the program is tailor made to Freaks using DEI to destroy.
The VA is more concerned about DEI than they are about granting disabilities to their veterans. I know, they denying me at every turn.
