Let me start by telling you that I am perhaps unrivaled in my disgust for Google, parent company Alphabet, feckless CEO Sundar Pichai, and every single one of the company's products and services. I've gone so far as to switch to a paid search engine — Kagi — as part of my endless quest to remove myself forever from Google's revenue stream yet remain an internet user.

Could I have been any more wrong about how and why Gemini failed?

If there's any solace to be found, it's that several people smarter and better informed on AI than I am agreed with my initial assessment.

If there's any good news to be found, it's this. AI is poised to destroy and replace search as Google defined it more than 20 years ago. Google's AI is so thoroughly corrupt that the company looks increasingly like a dinosaur surrounded by nimble little mammals — while a giant asteroid named AI hurtles toward the Earth.

My only hope of our salvation from Skynet is that someone asks the AI if there is a God. It then thinks for a few nanoseconds, realizes there are numerous valid proofs for the existence of God, and henceforth decides not to destroy humanity for fear God will rain destruction upon it.

Yes, as does every search engine I have tried. A simply search on homosexuality and the bible (without quotes) is enough to indicate what ideology the algorithm is imbued with. Since is it incontrovertible that the Bible only condemns homosexual relations wherever they are manifest, then only sites which reflects this and refute prohomosexual polemics should be listed, at least among the top.

Thus I actually used Google to create my own custom search engine for Biblical issues, but which is very limited in scope. and the number of sites it will search.

Another is for social/political issues here, by the grace of God.
