As it turns out, the trans activists who recently held a sacrilegious funeral in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City for one of their peers likely committed a hate crime.
Writing in a letter to New York Attorney General Letitia James, Brian Burch, president of CatholicVote, a leading Catholic advocacy group, called for an “investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding the recent use of St.Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City by transgender activists to deceptively gain access and advance ideas and beliefs hostile to doctrines of the Catholic Church, while openly mocking these beliefs.”

I’m so tired of thought crime laws. Anyway, if they signed a contract saying they would follow Catholic teachings they committed fraud. Otherwise, it’s the ol’ scorpion and frog, and the church has no one to blame but themselves. With that said, fake men and women are mentally ill, and this doesn’t surprise me at all.

Someone at the church had to have known. You can’t just close the cathedral to thd public and schedule a funeral mass with 1-2 thousand attendants without someone asking why is this funeral so well-attended and googling the deceased.

They had permission. It is a failure of even rudimentary church discipline…. But consistent with the Jesuit in chief. Did they accept cash without doing their homework?
Agreed, but the rules, no matter how irrational, should be enforced equally. No just against white conservatives.

What they were "willing" to is the question. Of course, renting to a bunch of tranny-affirming sodomites ought to be a clue. But if they rented it for a funeral, but included an orgy on the altar, that is probably provable deception.
Yeah. That is kind of my point. And it was not a case where just one person had to sign off on it either.
If this was a small church in a tiny parish where you leave a message with the cleaning lady, possible that he was deceived.
But this is one of the biggest and oldest Catholic Churches in the US. This was not a bunch of unworldly rubes who were shocked about how such a thing could be. They know who they were allowing to use their church and what would happen.
And was this person even a Catholic in good standing?
That used to be a requirement to have your funeral in a Catholic Church.

Just looked a Catholic voters guide. Recommend that Catholics vote for Biden. Many of the Church’s issues are what I would call far left.
