No victims. All loans were repaid. The supposed victim banks testified in defense of Trump.

I would love to see Trump inc. completely pull out of New York State. Like the firearms companies that are leaving for the southern states. Move everything to Florida. Then send the state an audit of just how much tax money that New York will be losing.
At least Henry had the good sense to get his teeth whitened.
These trials have all been engineered to unmask the deep state and bring forward evidence of election fraud. They will all go away. Trump isn’t going to jail and he isn’t going to pay these ridiculous judgments. This is all for show.
And I will win Powerball.
Three times.
In a ROW.
I can see you still don’t understand what’s Happening in this country. The deep state is being exposed and dismantled. They aren’t winning they’re losing.
both AG and judge should be barred or worse.
probably will be overturned.
add a few more points to Trump’s polling numbers

When is the hearing, or do the appeals judges have a collective itchy anus that needs to be scratched before they act? They are all probably too fat to reach where they need to....
The 8th amendment ban on excessive fines has been incorporated against the states. A $300 million dollar fine when there is no victim is unconstitutional.
President Trump shouldn't even be forced to liquidate assets to post a bond. He should go straight to SCOTUS for relief.

I agree.
To protect yourself or your business in New York, when taking out a loan, first bring a declaratory judgment action in court to get a court decree stating the value of the assets being put up for collateral for your loan. Specifically ask that the value so determined remain the legal value, regardless of economic or outside conditions through the live of the loan.
If you do not do this, you are at risk for this very suit, as no actual harm need befall any living soul for you to be fined.
Since these costs will be yours to bear, it would be cheaper to start a business elsewhere and get your loans in another bank in another state.
However, this does not mean New York would still not pursue you and your business. Therefore, all activities in New York should be shut down.
Trump won’t pay jack sh*

Exactly. If they are going to make up a number they could’ve done better than that. How about 4.6 bazillion dollars?
Who gets the money if there is not a victim?
“The 8th amendment ban on excessive fines has been incorporated against the states. A $300 million dollar fine when there is no victim is unconstitutional.”
Is there any authority applying this to civil cases, as opposed to criminal? Also, when you get to this argument, you’re conceding that there “non-excessive” fine is acceptable.
“He should go straight to SCOTUS for relief.”
It doesn’t work that way. He’ll have to appeal to the First Department, then to the New York Court of Appeals, then request that the US Supreme Court take the matter if a constitutional argument can be made.
“You think holding someone liable for something that happened in 2017 & 2018, when the statute of limitations was 3 years, then changing the statute of limitations to 6 years so you can sue him in 2023 for it is kosher?”
States are absolutely allowed to change statutes of limitations. By your own point the original statute of limitations hadn’t even expired against Trump by 2019 when they changed it to six years.
