KFF Health News — The Covid-19 pandemic would be a wake-up call for America, advocates for the elderly predicted: incontrovertible proof that the nation wasn’t doing enough to care for vulnerable older adults.
The death toll was shocking, as were reports of chaos in nursing homes and seniors suffering from isolation, depression, untreated illness, and neglect. Around 900,000 older adults have died of Covid-19 to date, accounting for 3 of every 4 Americans who have perished in the pandemic.
But decisive actions that advocates had hoped for haven’t materialized. Today, most people — and government officials — appear to accept Covid as a part of ordinary life. Many seniors at high risk aren’t getting antiviral therapies for Covid, and most older adults in nursing homes aren’t getting updated vaccines. Efforts to strengthen care quality in nursing homes and assisted living centers have stalled amid debate over costs and the availability of staff. And only a small percentage of people are masking or taking other precautions in public despite a new wave of covid, flu, and respiratory syncytial virus infections hospitalizing and killing seniors.

Not only do seniors tend to die at higher rates than the younger among us, but MANY MANY of them were suckered into taking repeat shots to supposedly prevent the virus... But hey - no connection, right?
My wife works in a retirement home.
Most of these people have had 6+ shots and boosters.
They are being destroyed by this clot shot but it is not being blamed because it is making all their conditions much much worse.
The main problem with cnn’s fear porn here is that some, perhaps many, perhaps most people who are said to have died from “covid” didn’t. They merely tested positive for covid shortly before or at the time they died.

We should care. Care enough to punish China, WHO and Fauci for foisting yet another man-made virus on the planet (bats in the market my ass).
Wait, what? I thought the vax and 12 boosters solved this problem for everyone. Was I wrong?
This evil behavior was caused by the federal government making payments to hospitals for every Covid death. They paid well to get the results they wanted.
My FIL’s hospice nurse told us last year that her patients who had been vaxxed were suffering many more ailments and dying quicker than those who did not.
My unvaxxed FIL got Covid and recovered with no issue at home. He only required some supplemental oxygen for a few days.
The Sars Covid virus probably does hit seniors a fair bit harder, but that’s useless to the MSM and the government powergrabbers. They only care about excuses to shut things down, control people, and to tax and spend more. As far as the government is concerned, seniors are nothing but an expense on the books.

Its not surprising, as most diseases take out the elderly at a higher rate. Existing health issues, older weakened immune systems, they tend to be dehydrated/don’t drink enough fluids, all factor in.
Lots more people are dying from vaccine adverse effects, but we don’t care about that because shut up.
These seniors don’t give a SH_ _ about the propaganda they spew. We both got two shots and one booster, then said “No more.” We don’t wear masks. We enjoy our lives and ignore the crazies. We both got it on a cruise last summer and it was no big deal.

Two TOTALLY different things
CNN means not enough seniors are dying...period.
We need every vote we can get. 75 percent of that million were republican. I’d like to see then extend their life if at all possible.
