CNN — With presidential primaries underway and a 2020 general election rematch seemingly the most likely outcome, a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS shows former President Donald Trump narrowly ahead of President Joe Biden in what’s shaping up to be a close contest nationally.
The poll highlights voters’ conflicted feelings about the leading candidates. Broad majorities of Democrats and Republicans say they’d be satisfied if their party’s candidate won such a rematch. Still, a sizable minority of voters express a desire for another option if Biden and Trump are the nominees.
Overall, 49% of registered voters say they would back Trump if an election between the two were held today, while 45% support Biden and 5% say they’d vote for someone else. Those numbers are identical to CNN polling on the contest in the fall, and the demographic dynamics of the contest appear to be steady – with a wide education gap among the most notable demographic divides, and smaller differences by age or race than in other recent presidential elections.
Biden’s support among traditionally Democratic-leaning blocs such as younger voters and voters of color has not grown since the fall: Voters younger than 35 remain about evenly split, 49% back Biden and 46% Trump, while voters of color break 57% Biden to 35% Trump.

If the Democrat is up 4, it’s a “comfortable lead.”
Right?? 4% is narrow for a guy that has 91 (trumped up) felony counts against him?
If this is a national poll, it probably oversamples heavily inside blue cities. What matters of course are the electoral college votes in key states but these kinds of numbers may bode well for Trump in those states.
But but but... Quinnipiac ?
But these numbers have nothing to do with any real poll, or with anything having to do with Trump or “Bidan.”
The last time these people did a real poll was in the 1970’s.
And that’s a poll by CNN, who knows how neutral they really are?
If it’s Biden vs Trump we MUST get them to debate, live before an audience, for an hour, where they can go back and forth.
“They” will do everything they can to help Biden. Try to take Trump off the ticket where possible, structure the debates so that Biden can stay on a script, allow for massive mail in ballots (plausible deniability but voter harvesting is by design), call those states where Biden leads early...
And if their boy wins, they will claim the elections weren’t rigged.

First, it’s registered voters. Not likely voters.
I was thinking the same thing about the Q poll that the media was running with, which is an obvious outlier. Just about every poll for the last 2 months has Trump in the lead, but Quinnipiac’s last two polls has a Biden lead.
What % is factored-in for demonKKKrats fraud and cheating?
If they have Trump up by 4 then he’s probably more like 14 points up. You see the problem is... They lie!
And just like that, CNN is now considered a honest and reliable news outlet.
Quinnipac is not methodology weak. It’s very strong. But they do make a choice that is suspect.
The weight results by the US Census, and that Census was corrupted to save seats and vector money — by the Administration.
Most polls are doing their weighting by turnout at the last election.
This will create a bias of sorts, but be aware Qpac’s previous polling showed a tie vs this week, a Biden lead. No change of methodology.
OTOH, CNN’s polls shows no change in results and no change in methodology.
Overall, there are likely no minds left undecided.
But but but... Quinnipiac ?

The tighter the pre-election polls....the easier it is to sell a cooked election outcome
But then no poll can accurately address the Rat Party Fraud Squad's work later this year.
