I want February to be very, very slow. March begins sandstorm season in West Texas, and I dread that more than 20-degree days. But not as much as summer heat.
When do the farmers begin sowing their crops?

Yep, we will do Chisolm Trail park later today.
I'm going to go to the tag office later this morning to get a new sticker for my pickup tag. I tried renewing it online but my credit card didn't work.
Last year I had charges put on my old credit card that I never authorized so they gave me a new one. I also haven't been able to use a credit card for Walmart or Amazon or our local newspaper since all this happened.
Always gotta watch your financial stuff. There are lots of troublemakers out there.
In any event I will get a new tag one way or another.

LOL! You want February to be slow and I want it to zip on by. I’m ready for Spring! I can understand you not looking forward to sandstorms though. That must be horrible. Dust gets pretty bad around here during planting and harvest times and that’s nothing compared to your dust.
Planting is still a ways off here. Need to wait until chances of frost are gone. Late April/early May is usually when things crank up, though I’ve seen a few plant a little earlier.

Most cars come with block heaters, but my car lives inside, thank goodness!
I usually go into the office on Thursday morning, and again on Saturday for a couple hours. Works well because I run errands on the way home.
But I do have a trickle charger on my car. When I first started working from home I forgot to start my car every now and then. Several dead batteries later, I got the charger. Back then I wasn’t going in at all.

Glad you got that battery situation in hand. That gets darn expensive. I hope it won’t be too awful getting out tomorrow. Maybe skip it since it’s so awful? Would anyone notice? 😬

It does get pretty nasty. Especially since we haven’t had any rain for awhile, and it doesn’t look very promising for this month either.
Whoof. I didn’t get a nap today and I’m really sleepy now. I think I’ll head to the barn. See ya tomorrow!

I’ve seen some of the massive clouds of dust on videos and they were ugly. I can’t imagine living where that goes on. Ugh!
Sleep well. Catch ya tomorrow.
