Yemen - one of the poorest countries in the world. Was invaded by the Saudi’s 8 years ago, funded and armed by the good ol’ USA. 500,000 dead, mostly civilians. The blockaded the straight that runs along their own coastline - but only for Israeli and Israeli bound shipping in response to what THEY believe is an unjust war against the Pali’s- any other ship could and did pass unmolested.
“Houthi rebels” is a Western slur to dehumanize them. The Houthi’s call themselves Ansar Allah, and they control the vast majority of the Yemen territory. The remainder is under a Saudi placed “government” following their war against Yemen. Which is the legit gov? I’d say probably neither, and there isn’t much gov there at all.

They have massive stores of these missiles. Perhaps some are still coming in but they’ve been preparing for this for a decade, same as Hezbollah.

Probably getting their stuff via the Chinese base in Djibouti, Somali pirates or Eritrea. As I recall, Iran smuggled Libyan missiles put of Libya during Hillary’s Big Benghazi Adventure through Eritrea to Gaza.
Unlike the Houthi, Hamas can’t run to the principal, so they get the schoolyard bystanders all riled up.
