Yemen - one of the poorest countries in the world. Was invaded by the Saudi’s 8 years ago, funded and armed by the good ol’ USA. 500,000 dead, mostly civilians. The blockaded the straight that runs along their own coastline - but only for Israeli and Israeli bound shipping in response to what THEY believe is an unjust war against the Pali’s- any other ship could and did pass unmolested.
“Houthi rebels” is a Western slur to dehumanize them. The Houthi’s call themselves Ansar Allah, and they control the vast majority of the Yemen territory. The remainder is under a Saudi placed “government” following their war against Yemen. Which is the legit gov? I’d say probably neither, and there isn’t much gov there at all.
Also excellent evidence the Arabs don’t give two shits about their fellow Arabs. Not a peep when Saudi’s bombed Yemen into the stone age, not a word against the western sanctions and bombs that killed 500k of their fellows.
The Yemenis and the rest of the Arabs just hate jews. That is the reason for their (1) celebrations of Oct 7 and (2) wild-eyed anger at Israeli retribution. It has almost nothing to do with dead Pali’s.
