Union is not happy with InBev, the plant closures, and the insults from marketing.

They are demanding a lot, but to be honest InBev appears to deserve what they are getting.

Not my dog or my fight.

That’s right. Beers come and go.

~~~
Even A/B beers come and go. One of the few of their products that I actually moderately enjoyed was Red Wolf, back in the day. What ever happened to that. It wasn't piss-water style beer so they dropped it?
I know that they do not own any of my personal favourites - family-owned for over a century.
What so many restaurants/bars have realized that if they invest in the equipment and hire a brew master they can make their own beer/ale much cheaper in the long run than buying it from the distributors. Plus the beer is so much better quality. This was especially true with the lower interest rates.
The only issue I have is that they serve/make too many ales. This is because it is much easier to make ale than it is Lager or Pilsner beer. So, most small breweries have primarily ales to choose from.
Only rice beer I ever liked was the original Rolling Rock brewed in Latrobe. The times spent drinking 7 oz ponies by the case at the Rathskeller in State College were legendary.
AB/InBev even managed to screw that up.
I didn’t know that about ales. Fortunately for me, I like a robust, flavorful ale and only have lager or pilsner during hot summer days.
I read a few years back that the USA had more small breweries per capita than it did in the halcyon days in the early 1900s before Prohibition. Those were the early days of refrigeration and it was expensive and rare. Ice boxes were still common. So local breweries located by the customer base made a lot of sense. Then Prohibition wiped out so many of them.
