I’m not a DeSantis ‘fan’, and as time has passed, I’ve come to actually dislike him. But I don’t agree with this kind of crap.
Governor DeSantis and his wife smiled, spoke respectfully to the agent provocateur and allowed security to escort him offstage, possibly for an evaluation to determine if he was having a health issue that made him act bizarre.
The Governor handled it fine.
People who run for public office put their lives on the line; and yes, it is ok that you do not respect that.

Why even post this garbage on FR. It’s disrespectful and childish and that stinking leftist worm should have gotten his butt stomped on the way out. We have really lost it as a country when our candidates can’t even speak in public without having to be subjected to gratuitous insult and scorn at the hands of an unruly and disrespectful public. And that includes people on this site as well who have somehow lost their manners. Whatever else DeSantis may be, he is still the Governor of the State of Florida, was duly elected by the residents, and as such is entitled to basic respect for the office he holds.
Participation and finishing is all that DeSantis needs to do if Trump fails to finish because of his legal problems.

It’s pretty simple. He was an effective governor and had respect and a prime shot at 2028. Then he showed his GOPe true colors running against the man who got him elected governor, has remained silent or worse about the attacks on our election system, on Trump, and thinks that playing the media’s debates game is what the grass roots want. He seems to be just as out of touch as Haley.
Neither do I , but he has kind of earned it.
