Answering reporters’ questions on Friday, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said strikes by United States and UK targeting Yemen was not proportionate as they claimed and accused them of trying to turn Red Sea into "sea of blood." Erdoğa said Houthis were mounting "successful defense, response" against attacks.

Actually, I think we should drop bombs on anyone who says we haven’t been “proportionate”. It’s an asinine thing to say.
And yet ... A member of NATO
We didn’t start it. But we have the means, if not the will, to finish it.
I wonder if we still keep nukes at our base(s) there and if that is a sound plan? Can we for certain defend or quickly remove them if situation destabilizes in country there?
I am sick of hearing “proportionate respone”, these people are worthless.
As I’ve said before- set the nukes on a timer and leave the country of Turkey.
They kill your people then cry about your abusiveness when you return fire.
They hide behind women and children and then complain that you are killing civilians.
When you counterattack, they complain that you are not being proportionate and are genocidal.
The Democrats have learned from the Muslim playbook (probably from Obama). They (the Democrats) plan to exterminate all white people, Jews, and Christians and turn America into a fascist dictatorship, but when we fight back, they call us Nazis.
There is your NATO right there Zeepers. What a crap coalition.
“Proportionate”. In order to be proportionate, we’d have to either miss all targets or have our launches intercepted. Are the turks, russkies and persians talking out their hindquarters, or what?
Where does Turkey’s 2% of GDP NATO spending go?
Proportionate is for defense lawyers.
Killing and winning is for victors.
The Houthi are human riff raff and Arab detritus.
Also, to kill the people supporting the pirates.
They are also attempting to join the EU.
I wonder, how many in the Pentagon agree with you?
A response is disproportionate when it is more severe than necessary to achieve a military objective.
Bad people use the term “disproportionate” whenever the side they don’t like is winning.
The plan is to top off the tritium, leave them in place and tape a copy of the go codes and PAL instructions on each weapon.
Think Afghanistan...
Talk is cheap—What are people going to do about it? Iran has no navy to speak of, even Turkey is limited. They hit first—now lets see if they can counter strike (I think not). This might have put a stop to the Red Sea pirates once and for all. The ball is in Iran’s court now—give it your best shot.
Why the F is Turkey still in NATO?
