Fox News “Special Report” anchor Bret Baier said the network is “ready to deal with it” if former President Donald Trump raises issues regarding the integrity of the 2020 election during his town hall slated for Wednesday night in Iowa.
The Republican presidential primary town hall event, airing at 9 p.m. Eastern, is the third that Fox will host this week in Des Moines, with the previous two featuring former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley on Monday and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday. ,,,,, Trump characterized his June interview with the Fox personality as “nasty,” The Hill reported. “Then you have a hostile network like Fox. When I did the interview with Bret, I thought it was fine. I thought it was okay, but there was nothing friendly about it. You know, it was nasty,” Trump told Newsmax host Eric Bolling afterwards.

I gritted my teeth and did it for the TEAM! Also, because I try VERY hard to never miss Trump, when he does something. :-)
I didn’t know that few use “SHALL”; it is how I leaned to speak and also it was taught in the lower grades in school.
FNC's rating are in the tank!
Have Trump on a show, ANY SHOW THERE, brings in a HUGE amount of viewers. So it benefits FNC far MORE than it does Trump and I want FNC to just die off.
Of course Trump can perform magnificently; I certainly didn't claim otherwise, nor doubt him. But giving help to one's enemies is wrong, in my opinion.
He was very impressive and polished. The crowd loved him, and he didn’t set one foot wrong on any query.
And he sat with Presidential authority in his chair as he addressed the questions. He didn't do that fake phony stand up to walk around the stage crap like Nimrata and desanctis did.
I NEVER watch them, so I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me about that!
Charlie Kirk gives Trump highest praise. He showed some clips and Trump was at his very best.
I am sure all the FReepers who said yesterday that this town hall was a huge political blunder - will now admit they were wrong. /S
Yes, Trump did very well....as usual; however, his appearance upped FNC's ratings, which is what I was/am against!
Bret Bair, Neil Cavuto, Sean Hannity, etcetera are all lying pig eyed sacks of shit!
Carlson was the only decent one fox had and they fired him.
That’s how we learned it, too, in my little NY State school. Almost never hear it anymore, though.
True… I don’t watch Fox either - but a lot of older MAGA voters still watch it….
We also had vocabulary words to learn, from third grade through high school, which was the norm, from the worst schools through the elite boarding schools. Sadly, that's no longer the case, not even in THE best of the nest schools.
Most posters on this site probably fall into that category.
True.. I am 72 but I wasn’t including myself - LOL.
I just think there are a lot of people who still wrongly trust Fox.
For me, the stolen election is the litmus test. Any politician or journalist who can’t utter the words stolen election - I won’t give them the time of day. That means no Fox for me.
I doubt that Gen Zers, Millennials, Gen Xers, and older people watch it. The first two, that I mentioned. absolutely do NOT! A few Gen Xers probably watch GUtfeld, and maybe some and Boomers do. The WAR Babies? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
The Election night of 2020 turned away a LOT of people and getting rid of Tucker sealed the deal.
You’re probably right - I’m certainly not an expert. Tucker getting fired was the last straw for a lot of people - that’s true.
I watch Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk
Are there still people watching fox news? How is it any different than CNN or MSNBC now?
Bookmarked as one of the most intelligent and logical rebuttals to the insurrection issue.
