Michelle Obama says fears about the 2024 White House race keep her up at night.
“I am terrified about what could possibly happen,” Obama said of this year’s presidential election in an interview on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast, released Monday.
“Because our leaders matter. Who we select, who speaks for us, who holds that bully pulpit — it affects us in ways that sometimes I think people take for granted,” the former first lady said when asked to name some of her biggest fears keeping her awake at nighttime.
“The fact that people think that government, does it really even do anything? And I’m like, ‘Oh my God, does government do everything for us.’ And we cannot take this democracy for granted. And sometimes I worry that we do,” Obama, 59, said.

Elections in a free country are supposed to reflect the peoples choice so why would someone be ‘terrified’ of the people’s election choice?
This is a bizarre statement.
Indeed how good is the opinion of a disbarred lawyer and her old man.
Most of us don't want the government to do anything for us. But as it is now, everything the government does makes our lives harder, more expensive, more restrictive, and more miserable.
I remember the folks stacked two-deep at the local gun store counter the morning after her (his?) husband was elected.
I am scared too, what if we elect a black woman only to find out IT is a man.
What is not at all amusing about the Left is how they conduct themselves, running around vilifying and persecuting their adversaies and then pivoting on a dime, pleading victimhood at the first thought of someone coming along to hold them accountable for their misdeeds. Yea, she is terrified that a pickup truck full of good ole boys might park directly in front of the rioting crowd that is already burning, looting and murding those in their way....
Little does the mayor of Chicago or the Police Chief understand that they have been documented in their ongoing support for the rioters. They know that video crews are monitoring them in live time. The Mayor and Police Chief are beeing recorded and a few insiders are also capturing their words on their phones and recording devices.
At the same time there are video crews monitoring the rioters and the leadership of the riots. The documentation is ongoing as the rioters BURN, LOOT and MURDER their way across two city blocks.
It is all being documented. Soon a pickup truck is broken down in the next block forward of the rioters, in their path.
Rioters want blood. They are enraged. Many are screaming to kill the people in the truck... they are white. Some rioters are now banishing firearms, others gas bottles lit on fire, and bricks. Like angry ants or they are running towards the truck.
The peoplel in the truck have a bull horn. They tell the rioters they are broken down and that they will move as soon as the tire is replaced. They tell them they will defend their property.
Strangly enough their are police officers with rioters to maintain control, but they offer no assistance to the truck or offer to protect the truck.
More video is rolling proving the political oversight and support of the DNC politicans in this staged Day of Rage against Trump.
Four guys in the truck stand on the bed of the truck and waive their rifles to let the rioters they will defend their property.
When the crowd startss running to destroy the truck and it’s occupants, at 10 meters they are thowing bricks and fire bombs.
Now the people in the truck open fire and kill over 50 rioters.
The Mayor and Police Chief are still on video blaming the people in the truck. It is a stolen truck. It is loaded with TVs and electronics from the first block’s looting. They never do find the people who stopped the riot and saved the $city of Chicago billions in estimated damages.
The video crew sends the video around the world in uploads showing the police are helping the rioters. It show the rioters attackiing the people and the truck in their quest to destroy everything in their path.
Biden calls for more riots. Trump calls for calm.
Trump is elected president and declares martial law, arresting over the mayors and police chiefs from over 550 cities in the US. They are tried by courts martial. Many are sentenced to death. Colleges are shuttered and students sent home. It will be one year before the HAMAS-Like Uprising is contained and democracy restored, along with the Rule OF Law.
