The same clip was posted on X by pro-Ukrainian user (((Tendar))), who said that it had been distributed by Russian Telegram channels as they believed it showed destruction caused by Ukrainian missiles in the city.
"Russian channels like 'Zhest Belgorod' distributed videos and pictures of missile fragments, which damaged civilian properties in Belgorod," wrote (((Tendar))). "However, once they realized that those were the booster sections of 23Ya6 missiles of the Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense system, they deleted them."...
The Ukrainian Military Center, a public organization, also reported that "the zero stage motor of a Russian 57E6 guided surface-to-air missile of the Pantsir SAM pierced the roof of a private house and flew into a children's room in Belgorod."
"It is known that the motor separates about 2.6 seconds after launch, giving the missile its initial velocity," it said. "This indicates that the Pantsir SAM was located in close proximity to residential areas of the city."
The organization said such incidents are "routine" for Belgorod's population.
On Wednesday, the mayor of Belgorod, Valentin Demidov, urged local residents not to post photos and videos of Ukrainian attacks on the region.
"Dear friends, I am strongly requesting that you do not take photos of, or share or post anywhere any videos and photos showing the consequences of bombardments and of anything connected with the special operation in general. This is a matter of our own safety," he wrote on his Telegram channel...

No wonder Russia can't win this war, even after 2 years
“Only those losing debates attack the source rather than address and try to refute the points made by a source. You just proved you can’t refute the points made, not surprising in the least in your case.”

Thanks for the picture Jon - I suspected as much.
Isabel van Brugen, and her trail of Newsweek propaganda, is a fav of our foreign interlopers.
Who but an imbecile would believe this propaganda?
It’s amazing that booster sections of Ukrainian air defense missiles never kill anybody.
it's absolutely impossible to refute propaganda points made by the people who claim Russia blew up Nord Stream and now struck Belgorod with their own missile. I'd have better luck asking Trudeau why he is putting feminine hygiene products in men's toilets in Canada.
BTW when do we find out why one of those suspects has named himself (herself/itself) after an obscure Muskovite city on the Volga?
Even if it is true, it’s no big deal, because Ukraine accuses Russia of things it did, and Russia does the same. But neither is worth our involvement, nor is the outcome a national security risk.
—” an obscure Muskovite city on the Volga?”
Not too obscure, pop over one million.
But like most Russian things it is turning to shite.
Another one of your great predictions -
“What will they do when Russia defeats Ukraine, most likely, before the year has expired?”

(Nostradamus you ain’t)
Does Ukraine occasionally inflict some pain on Russia, yeah with the help of others supplying Ukraine with everything they need. Much of which goes into the pockets of the oligarchs or ends up for salle on the black markets.
You mean like our own country is?
Hmmm,
Let’s see.
Ukraine loses 18% of their landmass, a major industrial area and port city. Russia gains these. The military objective of this war was to prevent Russia from seizing this territory.
Ukraine is not in NATO. The political objective of this war was Ukraine entering NATO and this is what ultimately caused the war.
Ukraine is not in the EU. Something possible before the war.
Ukraine’s economy shrunk by >37%. Not Russia, Ukraine.
Ukraine’s population imploded from 41 to 28 million living there. A world record!
Ukraine’s birthrate dropped.
Ukraine’s debt exploded. Not Russia, Ukraine.
Ukraine is a defunct / bankrupt nation literally depending on billions from the US and EU region (((monthly))) to pay it’s retirements, federal employees and mercenaries.
Ukraine’s counteroffensive was a flop that went no where and there will be no second chance (the West won’t pay for it).
Ukraine’s infrastructure is a mess. Not Russia, Ukraine.
***But Russia can’t win the war?***
When someone fails to achieve their states political (NATO membership) and military (prevent loss of Russian ethnic Ukrainian areas, industrial area and port city) objectives, that’s called FAILURE.
The war is already over.
The West is already cutting its losses and slowly pulling back.
Ukraine is a dead dude still making some gurgling sounds and you’re talking about Russia not winning? Funny. Goes to show, perception is reality.
Once a Tatar city, and thus 100% Muslim. Ivan the Terrible conquered it in 1552. I think that's the first conquest by Moscow of a city outside the historic range of the Eastern Slavs, setting up a paradigm for Muskovite foreign policy that continues to this day. Now about half Slav, half Muslim according the Innertubes.
With just a little Joker makeup...
It’s war. One side partially losing doesn’t mean the other side necessarily wins.
