Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity announced he is leaving New York on his radio show Tuesday afternoon, saying that he was “broadcasting now from my new home in the free state of Florida.”
A longtime New Yorker, Hannity detailed why he left the Democrat-run city.
“Tonight, we are now broadcasting from my new home, the great free state of Florida,” he said.
“Like so many Americans, I left New York for good and am now in a state with, let’s see, warmer weather, law and order, better education, more freedom, better quality of life, and guess what — no state income tax.”
Hannity also mentioned another reason why he left the Big Apple.
“For the first time that I can think of in my adult life, I actually have representatives in the state that I’m living in that share my values,” he said.
“I have a governor by the name of Ron DeSantis and Sen. Marco Rubio and Sen. Rick Scott.”
“So I’m feeling a lot better about it,” Hannity said, according to an account of the move on the Fox News website.
He also noted that he has “been threatening now to do this for quite a while.”
Hannity then declared, “I am out. I am done. I’m finished. New York, New York, goodbye.”
Hannity noted that he is part of a national trend.
” It’s obvious this migration out of the blue states with high taxes, burdensome regulation, high crime, horrible school districts is real.”
“And if anything, I’m probably late and behind the curve,” he said
Hannity’s comments came after Mayor Eric Adams admitted that New York City is “out of room, literally” after the city was flooded with 160,000 border crossers and illegal aliens since spring of 2022.
Speaking with FOX5 NY’s Rosanna Scotto, Adams warned that border crossers and illegal aliens would soon be sleeping in the city streets if Biden continues to allow the open border to cause unprecedented unlawful immigration.
“We’re not just saying we’re out of room as a sound bite — we’re out of room, literally,” Adams said.
“People are going to be eventually sleeping on the streets.”
Adams also claimed he cannot revoke New York City’s sanctuary policy, which protects illegal aliens from being deported.

When white flight and tool flight become one. As if Florida needed any more jerkoffs.
His sister lives here in Destin, or at least she did a few years ago.
I hope he doesn’t move here along the panhandle Gulf Coast...................
Nope. Don’t buy it.
Does anybody know how that will affect his Girlfriend on Fox and Friends?
If I won a billion dollars in the lottery I’d buy a small condo/coop on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for an occasional weekend away...but nothing more. I could live in the Connecticut,or New Jersey, suburbs of NYC but never anywhere in the State of New York.
DITTO...Tool Time Sean should stay put in NY.
I suppose you would have to ask her.
Good for Sean! As we all know, Rush made the same decision.
can you imagine the horror of having Hannity squirming around between your legs.
Well, there goes Florida.
Sean, admitting a harsh truth about yourself is a good first step.....
Shawn is no Rush.
I can't imagine why anyone would contemplate imagining it.
Hey, I’m stuck with Brian Kilmeade......it’s YOUR TURN! 😂
Don’t know, but if she also moved down she would be in good company—there seems to be a lot of “bottle blondes” in Florida.
Of course not. He acknowledges that. Just the same, he moved to Florida, as did Rush.
And Trump...................
The trend out of New York to Southern states will only continue as Hochul and the two marxist leaders of the Senate and Assembly continue to destroy the state with their Left wing policies.
Eventually they well have a tax revenue crisis.
Eventually they well have to as Fedgov for a bailout.....................
If I won a billion dollars in the lottery I’d buy a small condo on the beach in Mexico. It’s gotta be empty by now...................
