Suburbs put the brakes on migrant bus arrivals after crackdowns in Chicago and New York

TRENTON, N.J. -- In Edison, New Jersey, the mayor warned he would send people back to the border if they came to his city in buses. In Rockford, Illinois, authorities said 355 migrants who landed on a charter flight wouldn't be staying.

“NO MIGRANT BUSES THIS EXIT,” signs along Interstate 55 in Grundy County, Illinois, southwest of Chicago said ahead of Christmas weekend.

Nervous officials in suburbs and outlying cities near Chicago and New York are giving migrants arriving from the southern border a cold shoulder amid attempts to circumvent restrictions on buses in those two cities, opening a new front in response to efforts led by Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott to pay for migrants to leave his state.

NO MIGRANT BUSES THIS EXIT

Completely illegal. Ignore the sign, take the fine, and go to court.

It’s their fault. They helped Biden cheat his way into the WH.

It’s funny to hear some of the comments from these Democrat Big City Mayors. And from people such as Karine Jean-Pierre.

They criticize Governor Abbott for sending these illegal aliens to the sanctuary cities. But their own Democrat president and his policies created this whole mess in the first place.

They say they are flooded with illegal aliens and they’re not equipped to deal with this Mass migration. So does that mean they think Texas border towns are equipped to deal with this Mass migration?

Apparently Governor Abbott is the designated Republican who is at fault for what’s going on. When there were problems in Democrat jurisdictions, there seems to be a desire to find some Republican somewhere to blame the problem on.

When there were problems in Democrat jurisdictions, there seems to be a Federal Bailout. The complaint from the mayors of sanctuary cities is they don’t have resources (meaning enough money). Chicago mayor just took $95M in public funds for illega migrant assistant. Will the residence ever realize those fipunds could have been used to feed, house, and educated their very own?

This is blatantly illegal. Once they are given access to the country by the US government, no local municipality has the slightest legal leg to stand on to say who can come into the city and who cannot. They cannot demand them identify themselves, shake them down, search them, forbid them from riding on a bus. These mayors need to be prosecuted for violations of their civil rights the minute Trump gets back in the office. This is no different than a southern racist town in the 50s putting up the “don’t let the Sun go down on you” sign.

Some dirt road, a few LGBorder agents, chopped up pieces of concertina wire, a bunch of PLA soldiers in civilian clothes and some South Americans with smallpox and TB.

Vola!

May as well be at the southern TMEA, Texas Main Entrance Area (formerly known as the "Border.")

Let them out just outside the city limits.

They managed to cross Mexico, so they can surely manage on their own.

Every single one of these migrants signed up permission form, and requested to be transported to the city in question. Texas even post the temperature today of that city. They know exactly what they are doing. This is not human trafficking now. These northern mayors need to face felony charges as soon as Trump gets back in office.

Typical of leftism. They NEVER take responsibility for the consequences of their actions.

Biden's open-border policy created the mess, but the Dems still blame Abbot, Trump, Republicans, etc. The problem is that their blame-game sticks because their voters have had decades of indoctrination.

Several years ago I remember a woman on a call in show saying illegals were being dumped at night in her Georgia small town. She said “I know they’re doing this on purpose. They’re trying affect the next election.”

Many cities and towns have had to somehow cope with gang members, traffickers and just welfare users among the illegals the past 3 years. Just when it’s the Dem cities it becomes a crisis. Hypocrites.

Now the illegals going to NY, Boston and Chicago are called a menace from Gov.Abbott.

“In Edison, New Jersey, the mayor warned he would send people back to the border if they came to his city in buses.”

And how does he plan to FORCIBLY send them back? After all, they are coming to the Northeast VOLUNTARILY, after signing forms saying that’s where they want to go (and no one is being tricked to go). Obviously, they’re not interested in being sent back.

So what authority does this Podunk mayor have to force them back to the border.

I don’t disagree. I’m just saying, this kind of regulation is not legal. Everyone inside the country has freedom of movement between cities and states; and title six of the Civil Rights Act prohibits discrimination based on origin. The sign and any enforcement is, to this non-lawyer, patently illegal.

The problem is not Texas or Abbott it is the administration. This smoke the left, media and WH is blowing blaming Abbott is just political distraction from the main problem. As if everybody who enters into Texas or Arizona wants to stay there? No! They want to go as you inferred to the places that offer them the best opportunities - whether that is because of benefits, or work, or family connections, or vibrant community of expats or just a dream “I was born in Somalia and I want to see New York City” etc then that is where they will go. It takes a large amount of hubris to assume that 10 million migrants who came from all over the world want to live in Texas and Arizona. There is no harm to the migrant or to Texas in helping them get to their desired destination and currently no law preventing it. Just smoke and a huge dose of hypocrisy and arrogance.

Bidens Welcome mat is being withdrawn. Illegals wake up moments ahead that they are not welcomed.

Illegals will surly ignore signs...they already illegally entered our country and the cartels won't be putting the brakes on either.
