“If we’d gotten the policies in place, if he had worked with conservatives to get bills passed in 2018, ’19,” Roy said of Trump. “We wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in right now, where Joe Biden is leaving Texas fully exposed to have people running over our Border Patrol agents and our [Department of Public Safety].”
Roy was also pressed a couple of times about Trump’s recent controversial remarks that immigrants were “poisoning the blood” of America, and he said Republicans ought to be approaching the issue with more compassion.

roy is just parroting desantis, blaming Trump for not getting anything done, instead of ryan or mcconnell, and the rinos.
BTW... so chip roy wants 'compassion' shown to the illegal aliens.... I guess he means full welfare benefits, then, since he says 'there are human beings who are suffering'?

Chip Roy first endorsed primarying Trump by endorsing a primary competitor.
It becomes perfectly fair by Trump to say Chip Roy should be primaried.

I really like Chip Roy, but his criticism of Trump for not participating in these “debates” make no sense. Trump is crushing everyone, his positions are well-known, and he has nothing to gain.

Along comes a populist candidate that might get into high office, and it is no surprise that they will say the nastiest things about them, making stuff up as necessary.
Many of us are sick and tired of being sick and tired of the Establishment doing this. And its reached a breaking point with them doing it to Trump. Its not that people think Trump is the greatest thing since sliced bread, its just that he is the latest populist candidate with the potential of gaining high office and making the actual citizens a priority again. And we are sick and tired of the Establishment treating such threats like dirt. They way they treat Trump is by extension the way they treat us.
Trump has a great ability to get the political class to speak out of their mittholes on a regular basis..

Chip Roy is digging his ‘never-trump’ and ‘never MAGA’ hole really deep with this appearance on CNN.
I find it interesting that Chip Roy and others like him go to CNN or MSNBC when they get outed.
