Of course Ukraine is going to lose the war. NATO knew it the instant Russia committed. And now that the American people are becoming aware of the folly, Ukraine's imminent demise will receive little press.

Ukraine has already entered the loss spiral. Their army has lost 2/3rds of their combat troops. Half their population has fled to neighboring countries. They can do masada or they can negotiate. Depending on your viewpoint, either is honorable.
