House passes defense policy bill, a rebuke of GOP’s far-right fringe (uniparty. ALL. OF. THEM.)

The House, in a decisive vote Thursday, passed the annual defense authorization bill, delivering a bipartisan rebuke to its most conservative members who had sought to infuse the legislation with a wishlist of provisions targeting Pentagon policies on abortion, diversity and LGBTQ+ rights.

The $886 billion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was approved by a vote of 310-118, having passed the Senate by an overwhelming margin Wednesday night. It proceeds next to the White House, where President Biden is expected to sign the legislation into law.

“Are you so stupid you actually believe the bill doesn’t make the military LESS prepared?”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yes, that is exactly what I believe.

For example:
Look what happened to all those places in America where the police were defunded, or partly defunded... a SURGE in CRIME!

I will always be against defunding the police and military.
I’m from a family of law and order philosophy.

And when it comes to crazy LGBT issues (those seen as degrading our military readiness), that can be eliminated separately by new pragmatic laws.
We dont need to defund the army to obtain those goals.

>>>can be eliminated

But won't as long as congress doesn't pull its collective head out of its rear end. However, I suppose even if congress specifically abolished FISA abuses, the deep state would continue to violate the 4th Amendment. It has developed a craving for abusing conservatives, and doesn't want to stop. Trump would try to stop the abuse, but I hope it's not too late.

So, federally funded abortions good, DEI and LGBTQ+ bias and bigotry good. And these are republicans?!

Exact same kind of republicans as desanctomonious, who you support if I'm not mistaken. You should be happy.

Gee, that's exactly what every one of these repubs will tell you. Coincidence? I think not.

“far-right fringe”

Is this a “news” article or is it an op-ed?

$886 billion for “National Defense” while we are being invaded across our open Southern border. What a farce!

How many in Congress have actually read all 3000 pages of this bill?

The American republic is dead.

What this is is a corrupt kleptocracy where the connected grifting elites bankrupt us for their personal enrichment and pick us clean. They also support those who spy on us.

Ruled by scum. No prospect for restoring the republic, which is 13 times bankrupt anways.

Take a long cold look at those numbers. It passed the House with 72% approval. The problem is much much larger than this bill.

GOP claimed that Dems conceded some text in the bill about “border security.” Why is Biden happy? They got the FISA authorization they wanted, and they have no reason to act in good faith WRT the border.

The “mainstream” media are making noise about an imminent Russian victory in Ukraine. I was hoping our Republican Congress would tell Biden where to shove any ideas he might have of reimposing the draft. But now it looks like there are enough Rinos to pass a conscription bill, if and when His Fraudulency introduces one. Those same leftist Pentagon policies the Rinos voted to keep on funding are deterring normal, red blooded young Americans from joining the military, which caused the recruiting shortfall to start with...

All Texans pay attention to what comes out of Mordor on the Potomac.

Support TEXIT and our secession from these divided States. Let Texans vote for the proposition that will be put on the Republican primary ballot. TNM delivered 139000 signatures to the Republican Party. Enough to give us that vote.
