Does the Navy train female pilots any differently than male pilots?
Given that the US military has both written and unwritten double standards for men and women in many areas, my guess is yes.
I know that there were multiple standards for women, minorities, and politically connected trainees when I went through USAF pilot training in the early 1990's
UPDATE: a USN spokesperson stated the aircraft was only lightly damaged and should return to service.

Air Force pilots are notorious for using all of the available runway.
Navy pilots not so much.
How the pilot pees is irrelevant. Either way, dumping the bus into the bay is the sort of thing that turns up in your OER. Good thing is that nobody got killed.
We were doing some work near the runway and had to displace the threshold by about 1,000 feet for their own safety. Their response was to roll out 4- F15’s across the runway, throttled up and blew our sandbags and marks off the runway. They were pissed. Then they decided to play chicken with our heavy equipment by coming in way to low.
The Airport manager lost it and laid into the commanding officer and they knocked that crap off.
The EP-3C is also an AWACS plane (Airborne Warning and Control System). It detects other airborne threats, AA missile launches, etc.

Hardly. I was systems crew (not flight crew) on C-130s a few decades back. Our flight crews were mostly male, but not all. Everyone was fully competent and well-trained for the job they did, but s*** still happened on occasion.
If standards were lowered to accommodate women, then it's an issue we should all be concerned with. However, there are contradictory reports on the makeup of the flight crew, which, based on what I can find on the P-8, would be two people (pilot, co-pilot/navigator). The rest of the crew would be systems crew (7 there) and not responsible for the operation of the aircraft.
His blurb aside, having wings doesn't make one a pilot. At least not when I was in the USAF, not sure about Navy. I had wings and I was enlisted weapons system crew in the back.

Not aware of current policy, but i believe one can correctly infer they are administratively grounded for now, pending the investigation.
Maybe they can mount it outside the Big House at University of Michigan...
